I have been to Unicorn several times. This last time will be it. You walk in and your greeting is nothing. You say hello and the woman barely looks up from her phone. Prices are not posted and when you ask it’s clearly an issue. We bought some cake with raspberry. It was awful. It is very clear there is more gelatin used than an any real raspberry preserves. I was talking to her in Polish. I can only imagine how people are treated who are not Polish?

If you are there definitely get their cold cuts and cheeses. Their puppy babkas are best. We bought this cheese cake version with jello and fruit on top, the best I’ve ever had.

Good eclairs and berry danishes. Their rye loaf is some of the best bread I’ve had.

The Unicorn Polish bakery is easily accessible with plenty of parking in the long shopping strip right in front of the store. There is a comprehensive bakery department, meat department, and a wide variety of products directly from Poland. The staff was friendly and helpful. In addition to the frozen section carrying our favorite Pierogi which are filled dumplings, made by wrapping unleavened dough around a filling, flavored with a savory garnish, they carry just about all the ingredients for a traditional Polish dinner.

The baked goods are delicious! Take like mom used to make ! Great variety of food from Poland !
I like this place but they didn't post any notice on their website that they were closed for a week. So we didn't get a chance to savor their culinary delights when we drove out to their store.

This is a small Polish bakery. Seems mostly everyone speaks Polish here. I love the Polish cakes and went there for that. I tried the Nepolean cake and walnut honey cake. Both were really good. There were a lot of blackberry juices, which was good as well. Chocolate covered wafle with peanut butter stuffing was a nice try. I tried a couple of other cookies which were all good.
