Lovely vineyard with an excellent selection of wine. Enjoyed the wine tasting they have. I’ve been quite a few times and enjoyed it each time. It’s gorgeous when the sun is setting too. You feel like you are in the most serene, peaceful environment. The ambience is everything. My friends and I brought some cheese, crackers, grapes and with their wine, it was both perfect and memorable. Highly suggest going there for a romantic evening, an evening out with friends, or for any special event. 10/10!!

One of the best vineyards in CT. Wine is fantastic, view is amazing, facility is welcoming. Staff is friendly quite friendly. Get there early if outdoor seating isn’t a great idea, it can fill up fast. That said, it’s all worth it. BYOF welcome.

We visited on a Tuesday morning, it was a little cool and breezy, so we sat inside. There were a few other parties inside, but it was not busy.We each ordered a flight, normally the flight comes with a souvenir glass but they were out when we visited so the employee took a couple dollars off our flight. The normal price for a flight is $15 and $20 for the dessert wine tasting. My flight included 2 whites and 3 reds, I enjoyed them all but the pours were extremely small. If you don't want a flight a glass of wine is $10.You can bring food to enjoy with your wine. The scenery is beautiful, great for photo ops.

I had the pleasure of visiting Gouveia Vineyard recently, and it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of wine and the welcoming ambiance of the vineyard. I sampled their Sauvignon and sweet rose, and these quickly became my favorites. The Sauvignon had a crisp and refreshing taste with subtle fruity notes, while the sweet rose offered a perfect balance of sweetness and a burst of floral flavors. Both were a true delight for my palate. What sets Gouveia Vineyard apart, aside from their exceptional wines, is the breathtaking sunset view. It's a scene that's both romantic and tranquil, making it the ideal spot to unwind and savor a glass of wine. As an added bonus, the occasional presence of a food truck adds to the experience, providing delicious bites to complement the wine tasting. Gouveia Vineyard is a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and anyone looking for a serene escape with great wine and an incredible sunset view.

I came here for my birthday get together. We had a full table and then a table of 3 with some people on the way. Their website specifically says that they do not do reservations and that their tables are first come first serve, yet one of their employees came up to us and asked us to move from one of our tables for another party even though we had been there about an hour and a half before. Extremely rude and does not live up to their rules that their website claims. If they were truly first come, first serve then they wouldn’t have asked us to move. They would have told the people coming in to make do, but instead it feels like they were prioritizing larger parties over others which isn’t right. Everyone has a right to be there and take up space. We also tried to move tables since we saw another group do that and were told we couldn’t do that even though a group right next to us had done it. It just seemed like they were singling us out and it wasn’t appreciated.

I love this place. The only thing that ruins the vibe is the loud generator from the food trucks.

They offer not only fantastic wines but also a truly memorable experience. This winery delivers on all fronts! I can't recommend it enough, and I'll certainly be returning for more wine, breathtaking views, and wonderful memories.

Went to this winery to celebrate my girlfriends 50th bday which turned out to be a rainy afternoon. Perfect place for groups as it has a large area inside to entertain. Just have to get there early to grab a table as it fills up quickly. I would like to go again on a beautiful sunny day and earlier in the month of September to be able to walk around the vineyard before they harvest the grapes. There's a large amount of acres and they have Portuguese wine. You can bring your own food in and purchase bottles of wine that range around $35-40 dollars depending on what you like. They have white, red and a rose wines. There's also sampling of 5 wines for $15 and you receive a Souvenir wine glass. They also have bottles of water you can purchase as well. They also have a food truck that was there if you want other food. They accommodate everyone and gets very crowded so be prepared.

Beautiful surroundings, plenty of outdoor seating and areas on the grass. Bring a picnic, play Jenga and have a beautiful time with wine and friends
