The ambience of the place was beautiful. I was excited to try out the cafe shop since my husband and I are addicts when it comes to trying new coffee. I walked over from the library where my husband and children were and went ahead and ordered “our usual” when we go to any cafe; two coffees and a pastry or two. That’s our base line, we have to try to know. Well as I was waiting I walked around because when I first walked in I was shocked to see a jewelry store, I was sooo excited because my husband and I’s anniversary is coming up and with my pregnancies my ring no longer fits. Since we inherited our rings, we decided that although we love them, and really want new ones. Unfortunately for me the design that I specifically wanted they didn’t have but The owner of the jewelry store showed me around and options and that you can customs a ring and even told me if I want a certain design that we can bring in a picture and the designer can make it for us which i love to hear. So the jewelry store gets 10/10. Anyways, back to the coffee. We get our coffee, and I add our usual I bring a few packets of sugar and cream with me just incase and walk back over to the library and here it is.. my husband and I take our first sip and the coffee tasted burnt. I tried covering it up with some cream and sugar which helped but we decided we’d throw them out and get our usual at our favorite spot. We had the pastry, a strawberry crème cheese pastry, and a banana walnut muffin it was delicious.

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! I've been here many times and it's unbelievable but we hosted a bridal shower there today and it was beyond fabulous!!! From the super amazing staff, to the delicious food and the beautiful decor it was definitely a day to remember!

Was there in December and had a great chicken pesto panini. Wish I could have stayed longer to relax with a coffee, it has a very inviting vibe, or browse the jewelry selection from the jewelry store on the other side of the store. Recommended!

I enjoyed my breakfast at Le Jardin Café. I met a friend here at 9:30. We were the only ones in the place at the beginning of our visit. By the end of the visit the place was pretty crowded. I loved the quaint seating around the fireplace. Very enjoyable my breakfast was egg and cheese on a hard roll and everything was very fresh. Definitely enjoyed my pistachio flavored cappuccino and can't wait to go back and try different flavors.

Upon entering Le Jardin in Wallingford, CT, you are immediately greeted with an ambiance that whispers of upscale sophistication. The interior, pristine and beautifully adorned, sets the stage for a truly comfortable and relaxing experience. A notable aspect of this café is the constant presence of its owners, who bring a genuine sense of happiness and warmth to the establishment. As for the culinary delights, Le Jardin truly excels. The menu boasts freshly baked goods and an impressive array of lunch options, among which the Southwest Burrito Bowl stands out as a must-try. It perfectly balances flavor and nourishment, ensuring you leave satisfied yet energized for the rest of your day. The beverage selection at Le Jardin is equally commendable, offering a wide variety of choices from artisan coffees and teas to a range of bottled drinks, catering to all tastes and preferences. Adding to the café's charm is an attached jewelry store and a boutique featuring unique and elegant clothing and accessories. This addition not only enhances the overall experience but also embodies the essence of upper-class sophistication. In summary, Le Jardin is a gem in Wallingford, deserving of more than the highest rating one could give. It's a place that must be experienced firsthand to truly appreciate its excellence.

I am new to the area and was really most interested in the boutique which caught my eye on the tv commercial.Prices are very good for high quality merchandise clothing and gemstone jewelry, not bling.I only gave 4 stars as I expected a real cafe with table service and a wine. There is no liquor. The menu was intriguing and diverse.I paid for a Avocado toast which was a spread with lettuce and cherry tomatoes open face style on a flat bread toasted but everything falls off trying to eat it, esp with only plastic tableware.I wasn't expecting the cafeteria style service or coffee in paper cups but enjoyed the nice hot soup.I skipped dessert as it's bakery style pick and choose and all a la carte.I guess I wanted a hands on table experience to relax and not do the work on my day off.I did not know this in advance but for a local lunch venue it's great..The commercial lead me to visit as it is quite close but I was in the mood for an appetizer w a white wine and expected a different atmosphere.I would recommend this as it is extremely clean. If you don't mind self service it's for you.

My wife and I tried Le Jardin for the first time today for lunch. We highly recommend the 2 Panini choices. The Cubano and the Chicken Pesto Panini were delicious. The americano coffee was a perfect add on.
