Food and service were excellent. I only gave the atmosphere of four because it was really loud. Not really the restaurant's fault. It just happens when the bar is in the middle of the restaurant.

Tacos are so good! Carne asada is flavorful and tender. It gets very busy at lunch time & they seem unprepared for the big crowds. Also they are often out of stock of Coke.

Absolutely delicious food! I went on a road trip to CT and wanted some food, did a quick search of the area via Google maps based on where I was, Rivas Taqueria was the best choice. The food is priced right BUT the FLAVOR was absolutely on ??? only had a vegetarian burrito, vegetarian quesadilla with rice & beans also complimentary chips. The food was fresh, the salsas were excellent

I got both your chicken burrito and your chicken tacos. I guess they changed their chicken recipe because it looks nothing like the pics online. It's fried until it's rock hard and tastes awful. I was so disappointed. Who is giving this place good reviews? I only gave it a 2 because their service was great. I actually couldn't finish my tacos.

I hate to leave a bad review on a restaurant that had great service and a good atmosphere with A/C but the tacos I got were okay at best. If you are looking for low priced food, this is your place. My issue with the BBQ pork tacos and they were okay but nearly tasteless. Adding the lime juice that comes with the order helped but the meat was also dry and tough and had hardly any taste. I will try something else but this seems to be a place to go for low cost food if you are on a budget.

Such authentic Mexican food at such great prices. I can't think of a better Mexican place in CT.
The food is great, and the service is amazing. I would highly recommend. The tacos I ordered were amazing. The sauces give a good warmth to the food.
