I hosted my mother’s birthday lunch here. At the time they had 3 different parties going on. I can say the service, food and atmosphere were great! I was so happy they were accommodating & everyone had a great time!

The reason I’m giving this place 1 star is because everytime I order a baked ziti I always say extra cheese and they charge for the extra cheese but they sprinkle a tiny bit of cheese on top of the center and that’s it.this place won’t get my money anymore.

I called and receive the friendliest phone service from the male working. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and broccoli and Ohhh my GREATNESS. The shrimps was perfect size and they gave a great amount of broccoli. It was a lil pricey but it was worth it. The picture is not how I got it It looked so pretty. I waited to late to take a picture. ( never rate or post pictures of food but I did this time because I had to tell someone.)Kid-friendliness: I don’t know their names but the Italian male that answers when first opens and the woman in the afternoon are so pleasant and so so nice.

My Experience- visited amalfi on a Saturday 5pm 1/27. ??ordered water with lemon the glass straight up tasted like dish soap (thank god they use soap but rinse the glasses come on) Son ordered sprite, bottom of barrel for an 8 year old not to drink soda it had to be bad! Order a special 14oz ribeye cooked med-rare was able to eat maybe 4oz the rest pure fat! The guy next to me same thing. My son got meatballs n ravs and it was served like dog scraps meatball not even in a ball. I ate the food so I paid the bill- I know we in wtby but come on the food sucks do better amalfi you been around long enough ?????

I hate that they moved from old building but still worth driving . I love their pizza reminds me of home. NYCKid-friendliness: Always friendly and with a smile. I asked for hot water to warm my grandson bottle while i waited for my food and they give it to me with a smile.

So far everything has been very good, the waiters were very attentive, the food was very delicious, impeccable cleanliness. I really recommend this place.
Amazing food. I had the shrimp, broccoli over angel hair pasta. Delicious! I rate a 4 star because dessert was horrific! Bread (ponne bread). Hard, dry and horrific! Other than that entree and service great!

Went to Amafli amazing food best Italian food in Waterbury. If I could go here everyday I would. I got the Chicken Parm and it was so good it just melts in your mouth and super flavorful. The parm comes with a side of soup or salad and pasta. I got the chicken noodle soup and it was better than any soup I've eaten. For the pasta I got the ziti and it was also very good and better than anything my family made. I would highly recommend for anybody in or going to Waterbury.
