Since the COVID-19 pandemic began I had stayed clear of dining out. Over the summer as restrictions have eased up I've tried a few new places. Today I stopped in at Aunt Gerries. Let's start with the J*** Chicken. VERY GOOD. It came with a mix of what I call 'bar sized' chicken wings and legs. Perfectly seasoned, moist with a little crispness to the skin. The Mac & Cheese was homemade and top-notch. I opted for some rice and beans as a second side dish. It was also very good. Parking is a challenge. But worth it for an excellent lunch. About $11.00 without a drink for a 5 star meal? Yup. Worth every penny.

Aunt Gerries is delicious, I had the sautéed shrimp and sweet potato mash before a hike and it was fantastic, reminded me of being in the south was absolutely to that high standard! Very quick and yummy for lunch, there are fried options and healthier options so it’s a good option if you have several types of eaters in your group. So yummy.Don’t sleep on the $10 lunch special either.

It was wonderful I traveled from mass after I heard how great this place was so I wanted to try it for myself. Very affordable, a variety to choose from on the menu, very clean and professional environment. If your looking for good food you should definitely try this place.

I moved to New England from the deep south, and one of the things that I miss most the food. I stopped by Aunt Gerrie's Kitchen just to check out what they had, and let me tell you: this was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! I had the fried catfish, mac-and-cheese, and collard greens. It was great! I didn't even need any additional seasoning / sauces for the catfish -- it was so flavorful and juicy. The mac-and-cheese had just the write about of cheese. Feels and tastes like great home-cooked food. Thank you Aunt Gerrie!

I have ordered and had food catered. Never had no complaints and never disappointed. I travel an hour and a half but its worth the trip. Everything is fresh and Seasoned well.

Don’t go when your super hungry because it was a bit of a wait for food but let me tell you...... It was soooooo worth it!!!! I loved everything!!!! I will def go again, so much more I wanted to try!!!

I decided to try this during for lunch and ran into a few dilemmas. The first was parking; restaurant parking is non existent. No side parking and the auto place next to Gerries made it clear not to park or block there. I should've ordered before coming because the food is made to order. Another dilemma, after being unprepared for the wait, I ended up hoping on a meeting call that ran over an hour... long story short, I did not get to try the food hot. I was very excited to try this after much of my wait but also because of other reviews. Normally I love writing fair reviews but delving into each delicious item my order was; but I honesty don't even remember what I ate/ordered. Maybe the day itself, everything impacted the experience. I do remember it not being something that would be forgotten so I will try it again and update this review.

We were driving to Home Depot, and we saw“Aunt Gerrie’s Kitchen.” So we decided on the way back we’ll try it. BIG MISTAKE. From the inexperienced young woman at the front counter/register, who has no Customer Service Skills to save her life. She was more into her Cell Phone than interacting with us. We asked her about the Restaurant’s history. Are they new, did they just open? She gave a one word response. No! Smh! So we then dared to ask. How long have you been open. She said December, & now just know, this was April 2021 that we asked, again smh! Now regardless of all of that we ordered the food. To our surprise we were told it will be 30 minutes. Now that wasn’t too bad. Because the way we looked at it was, our food will be fresh. Not heated under some food heat lamps. We ordered the Fried Chicken Wings, Collard Greens, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Fried Shrimp, Mac n Cheese, & Rice and Beans. A lil over $30. The worse food ever. How can someone mess Shrimp up. I threw away 10 nicely sized Shrimps, because they were Disgusting. I tried to like the food, but I couldn’t. We couldn’t. The entire meal reminded me of Sugar Hill Gangs RAPPER’S DELIGHT. Now don’t take my word for it. I suggest you try it for yourself. We won’t be back ever, & that is too soon. No kidding, I just threw up. #TheWorseFoodEver?????

I had to order through an app, and said my order would be ready in 55 minutes, so plan ahead! (This was at 11 AM when they opened for the day). I was so surprised when I opened the cabbage and kale. The presentation was good. It was nice to see such a colorful dish. And the taste was sweet! I don't know why this side dish was sweet but the flavor and color were AMAZING. Me and a friend ordered the collard greens, mac and cheese, potato salad, rice and beans, bbq ribs, hot wings and whiting. I feel like I just had thanksgiving dinner and all that was missing was the turkey and cranberry sauce. The food was amazing!

We ordered delivery through Uber Eats and it was soooo delicious. Pricing was excellent and worth every dollar. The portions were nice and the food came fast and was piping hot. Was very happy, impressed, and satisfied.The Mac&Cheese is worth ordering extra and so is the Banana Pudding. The J*** Pasta was nice and spicy and the Potato Salad was excellent, especially if you like sweet pickles. The staff seems both friendly and professional and refreshingly appreciative. We actually telephoned them to give kudos.Support this restaurant and order often, especially if you're over the same'ol limited selections of dining options in the area. Check the "Specials" section of their website since they also seem to offer Specials for Holidays&Occasions. They're planning some for Valentine's day.
