Tonight, was my first time at Bliss Vybz and I will make this my spot to always get my food. The server Bigz was professional and friendly. A true people person to be in customer service. The food taste as the authentic Jamaican food. It was delicious, the kids and everyone enjoys it. I am glad I have found this restaurant.

Ordered from grub hub. Will be the first and last time. Pork was just full of fat no meat and portions were hard. Not edible. The white rice was hard. Big disappointment. I ended up throwing the food away. Waste of money

So this was my first time here and I was very Disappointed. The Service was not good at all. Asked about soup answer was mumbled I still don’t know what kind of soup they have. Now Price on the sign it says one thing was charged something different. Food for 17 dollars I got 7 small pieces of Oxtail. Mind you the sign stated medium oxtail was 16.00. Rice was hard guess it was scrapped from the bottom. And it’s very Salty. So this will be my first and LAST TIME. I heard so many good things about this place but it all wasn’t true. That was 2 dollars of Plantain

Wow, I was so happy to find this place. On a business trip to Hartford, got off the beaten path in Waterbury to try something local. I ordered the Curry Shrimp with Cabbage and Brown Rice. Friendly vibes with most here! Food quality outta site. A Dozen shrimp and more rice I could ever eat, although with that flavor I wanted to. Owner comped me a nice drink. Loved it, Thanks Ruben!

This is a West Indian restaurant that has delicious everything! Located in the former spot of the long time Berties, Bliss Vybz gets much respect for creating truly tasty Jamaican staples. You can dine in or take out. The service is friendly and attentive. The on street parking can be a challenge at times. My favorite: Stewed oxtail, rice n peas, and cooked cabbage!
