We had spent the night in a motel with a free breakfast- but we had a real appetite and needed something more than canned fruit, expired yogurt and lukewarm coffee with powdered creamer. The internet told us that Johnny’s was only a seven minute drive, and was it ever worth it. Set in a strip mall - so plenty of parking - we got there at about 10:45 am on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table right away. We were all pleased with the choices and the reasonable prices as well. I have food allergies and sensitivities and this was not an issue at all. Our food came out promptly and the service was great, despite the fact they were quite busy. Everything was delicious, hot, abundant and cooked just as we requested. The restaurant (and bathroom) was spotless. I would definitely go back and I recommend Johnny’s to anyone living in or visiting the Waterbury CT area.
