After eating at this establishment for 15 years I never thought I would be leaving a negative review.There was hair in my salad and the sausage was not fresh. We expected to be comped something because we sent the salad and sausage back. Instead the owner stated, "yeah, we don't have anyone in the kitchen with blonde hair. Do you want a dessert or cappuccino."I paid my bill of 100 + $ and walked out.What a true disappointment.I will not be returning!

My first visit to the Eatery was a very pleasant experience. My gf and I made reservations same day for Friday night out. We were seated promptly upon arrival in a corner booth which was out of the way and perfect for our date. Or server was attentive and answered all of our questions on the menu. We ordered a martini and Pinot noir with a large meatball appetizer. The drinks were very good and the meatball was amazing. Honestly l could've been our meal for the evening. We ordered a shrimp and scallops scampi and an angel hairAlfredo. We completed the night with a very rich tiramisu. All of our dishes were excellent. Items that stood out for me was the owner's attentiveness to his patrons. He stopped at every table checking up on service and needs. Super friendly that set a nice tone for our dinner. Andrea Boccelli served as background music for our stay. D'Amelio did have a small private lot but it was very tight but there is street parking available. I look forward to our next visit. Good spot for special occasions.

Stopped here on the way to a show at the palace. What a great find. Fresh homemade pasta, great flavor. Everything was delicious, even the old fashioned. The owner came by and introduced himself and asked about the food. Highly recommend this place for an authentic Italian meal.
