Came here tonight for dinner to celebrate my graduation and the food was phenomenal, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the drinks were out of this world. If you are in the area...don't hesitate to come here

Appetizer & Dinner Specials, as well as from the menu, were outstanding. Fresh Arugula, Barata Cheese, Veal, Shrimp, Pasta - all amazing. Our waiter, JT, was fantastic - attentive with a subtle presence. A wonderful dinning experience. Of course we will be back!

I was shocked at the level of quality food and the historic artifacts and memorabilia of times past that adorn the walls, seats everything. When you walk in you're taken back to the 1920's. I highly recommend this restaurant

We had a small dinner party to celebrate my daughter's engagement and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We sat in a small dining room that was perfect for our party. The food and service were fantastic. This place is one of my favorites. I look forward to my next visit.

First time dining @ Diorios. Everything was excellent from the service (Thanks JT!) to the food (you can taste the homemade quality) we will definitely be back soon!

We made a reservation for 8 people a month prior, and were put in their small party room which would have been great but they seated us at a table for 6 and the room had 2 other large parties so we were basically on each others laps to eat dinner. The waiter while lacking much personality was good. Drinks came out right, food came out hot. Luckily our group of people made up for the poor planning on the restaurants part.

Great Great restaurant. Very classy, nice Italian feel, great service. Food was very good and served quickly. Owner and sand every single staff/worker's were extremely nice. The price was a little higher than I'm used to, but a wonderful and special treat. Highly suggested for that special occasion

Excellent veal dishes. Salad on Milanese was delicious but mashed potatoes lacked flavor. Key lime pie was disappointing. Coffee and espresso were delicious. Had to ask server for more water.
This was our first time dining at Diorio's. Great history behind this place. The bar area is very cool, with some of the old icons of Waterbury's commerce engraved into the mirror that is behind the bar. Good menu of old school Italian favorites, prepared in an updated fashion. Great place to dine before attending a show at the Palace. Highly recommended.

After much anticipation, my fiancé and I went to Diorio to celebrate our anniversary several months ago! This spot has been high on my list of restaurants to visit ever since they reopened after COVID and remodeling. The interior was so charming, with a classy vintage feel that I absolutely loved. The menu definitely had some good choices, and while everything we ordered was good, we did agree that we’ve had better. Mostly we thought my fiancé’s ribeye could’ve used more seasoning, but the truffle butter that he had with it definitely added to the flavor. The pasta with my chicken parm was a bit cold, so it must’ve been plated before the chicken. One of the highlights for us though was when the waitress came around with a platter to showcase their desserts - it helped us make our decision on the banana banoffee and chocolate cake. The banoffee was excellent, but the chocolate cake was a little dry. Overall, I do think this is a great option to have in downtown Waterbury, and I would still come back to try some other dishes. We came on a weeknight and were impressed to see that it got pretty busy at peak dinner time!

Horrible service. Took 26 minutes for our waiter to take our order. We tried to get his attention after 15 minutes and he snappily answered he will be there in a minute. Not what I expected at all in a restaurant with such good reviews. KT or whatever your name was. You are not a good server ?Food was ok but service made me not hungry.
