Dry, stale/old empanadas on a Monday?! I understand if it were end of the day or Friday, but dont you make fresh food for the starting week at least ? Its Monday lunchtime! Also the place is small, dark and dingy. They dont carry soup and for the soda they send you to the next door deli. Won't ever visit again. Only good thing was the cold lemonade, but that's not enough.

We were having a saturday at Middlefield CT for the farm and were initially to going to go north to Mystic. We decided to change routes, head east and come here instead. It was the right decision and we had a couple of orders for to go. To start off, the Mofongo was fantastic . It was the first time I ever tried it and it set off very high expectations for future Monfongos. It was not too salty and not too oily. Just the right savor it left me speechless. A regret is buying a small Yellow Rice instead of an Extra large. That was excellent too. We also got Alcapurria and Pineapple Juice on the house. Edelin was very sweet and so was her mom! We also got plantains and they were good too.We are definitely coming back here when are in the area again and looking forward to try more Dominican Cuisine.

They were tender and the additional bbq sauce on them made it awesome We are definitely coming back here when are in the area again and looking forward to try more Dominican Cuisine.

I go here every week. Everything is super authentic and the restaurant is kept spotless clean. The food reminds me of my mother's cooking back home in Dominican Republic-- and I can't say that about most Dominican restaurants! If you're looking for a tasty meal at a good price, from kind people who value great customer service, this is the spot to go.

We order from here almost every week and have loved every meal. Also, the empanadas are the best I've ever had.

I just ordered food from here and they didn’t send all my food. The driver went back and they STILL didn’t provide everything that I ordered. $5 for 4 party wings that were over seasoned and under cooked. Total bust.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Waterbury. The food is always fantastic and with and extensive menu to choose from, no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Ran by three generations of Moms and a daughters, with great and positive attitudes are all so helpful and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Waterbury

A tiny little takeout joint that e its as another in a liston excellent little spots to grab a bite in the dirty water. Under $10 got me a fresh lemonade, yellow rice with beans, and some truly poetic pulled pork. A full meal in a hurry at an excellent price point AND it was delicious.

Most authentic Dominican food in the area. We stopped here on the drive north from NYC and Jacqueline and her daughter are so friendly and sweet. Amazing food, great variety of snacks and full meals. Loved the tripe, the potato balls and this epic sandwich.

Sweet, bright little Dominican restaurant. Great authentic meals like beef tripe, lots of sandwiches and pastries. Delicious potato balls. Also had lots of fresh juices which we didn't get to try. Owners were super sweet and friendly and it was fun chatting with them about their menu.
