6 pm, weekday. Each item I chose was lukewarm or cold. 3 different kinds of chicken, some ribs, the broccoli, the green beans, macaroni & cheese.I tried things I don't normally try... Also cold. The bathrooms...not one toilet was flushed. Not disappointed. Very disappointed. This is my first bad review ever.

I had accompanied a work group to Mr. Wok Chinese Buffet in Waterbury, CT on Saturday 2/3/24. There was an abundance of different varieties of food, fruits and vegetables. The cost to dine in was $15.99 plus tax and an added tip depending on how large your group is. You can do take out as well, but your food will be weighed to get the cost. Lots of fresh food kept coming out to the floor and the waitresses maintained appropriate cleanliness during our time there.Parking: Free parking available with wheel chair accessible spaces if needed.

They stared at us the whole time we ate!! Every time we got up for food they started me and my kids in our face. They don’t even make it un noticeable they made sure we saw them staring at us. The lady( our waitress) kept trying to take our plate that we were eating and not even asking if we were done. Then I was generous enough to tip $3.00 and she walked up to us and demanded MORE. Not only did I pay the bill I left $3 even though they were rude. Please don’t come here!! They are very rude to colored people. If you are not Chinese don’t even waste your time going. I gave $3.00 more and no thank you or anything. I tip my nail stylist $30.00 with great service. Listen up RestaurantsWE DO NOT NEED TO TIP!! THAT IS EARNED!!! Our meal was in total $105.00

Dirty and bland food. Waitresses are rude. I asked for a refill of Sprite and they came back with some awfully salted water. They cussed my family out in English and Mandarin for telling them this. Waitress was angry over a $3 tip…ungrateful and yucky place. DO NOT recommend!
This is the worst buffet I've been to. It's not a good selection of food and the qualityof food is horrible. Looks very dated and grungy .and the staff wasn't that friendly ! Needless to say we won't be returning.

So my dad and I usually go once a month to here, this was the worst and the last. Upon seeing the other reviews nothing has changed. In my 30 years I've NEVER heard ANY waitstaff ask if they where getting a tip before. Our waitstaff literally had disappeared for at least 20 minutes with plated still on our table and adjoining tables. The reason for the two star is because of the little kids making us laugh at the table behind is. The place overall has gone down even more.

had no running water and smelled awful, i have been there in the past and normally it is pretty good but this most recent time will be my last time. serving drinking water out of a big tub sitting in the kitchen, the fish tank had dead fish in it and stunk up the entire place. the food was gross and squishy. i truly hope this place can one day get back to being a decent buffet but as of right now i would would say spend the extra $5 and go somewhere else.
