This place has been closed for a long time. Had service issues when it was there. Neighborhood could definitely use a small neighborhood cafe.

Drove out of my way to come here to find it closed- even though yelp and the sign on the door says they should be open

I wish I could review higher- and perhaps my experiences were not the norm. Unfortunately, they were MY norm for this coffee spot. The coffee and food was all quite tasty- certainly meriting more than two stars. However, the service was so painfully slow that the good taste wasn't worth the fifteen-twenty minutes it took to have my order completed...both times I attempted to order two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches. If you don't mind waiting longer here than at a sit down restaurant - then you may rate higher. Sadly, it was enough that I won't return- there is a Dunkin down the road.

Great little spot in bunker hill. Perfect place to grab a cup of coffee, snuggle up next to the fire, and read a book OR get a sandwich and chat with friends OR get an iced coffee and Ami bagel after playing at the park across the street. Gotta support the small businesses!!!

New to the Waterbury area and I'm definitely going to make this my new favorite local coffee shop! Happy I found this through a quick Google search. Service is excellent and friendly and my iced latte and breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. Great decor too! Good to know Waterbury has a place like this among all the unnecessary Dunkin's and Starbucks.

The food here was very tasty. I had the Brass City sandwich, which has chicken, pesto, mozzarella, arugula, and peppers, which I took off. Everything was delicious and it was a really good sandwich. It was pretty small, though. I would have liked to see chips come with the sandwich, but they have to be bought separately. The cafe is really cute, especially with all the Christmas decorations they had set up. I loved how they had a full Christmas village, because it really reminded me of my childhood when my family used to set one up. It had a nice homey feel, and I liked the large windows that let in a lot of light. This is a great place to grab coffee or a small meal with a friend, and my group enjoyed it.

Not only will you feel the warmth of the two special owners, Laurie and Mike, feel good knowing they contribute food regularly for those of us less fortunate. You are a blessing to all...food isn't too shabby either!!??

Starbucks barista's you have not seen anything yet! This place has a warm spirit within as the owner stayed open so we could experience a quick group visit and the amazing lattes. They offer milk alternatives such as oat and loads of scrumptious gluten free treats! Hot sandwiches, and for me a new book find! They even offer journaling and music nights!

Such a sweet little local gem of an oasis! Great coffee and food (breakfast sandwiches, bagels, Brooklyn Bakery donuts) and lunch offerings. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, welcoming and refreshing. Sometimes I go to work a little late just so I can start my day sitting in this lovely place and sipping some inspiration!! Support this great local business!!
