I've been to Cowlick's five times. The first time, they didn't have the graham central station ice-cream I wanted to try after seeing their website list it, so my spouse & I decided to just leave and go somewhere else. The second time, they didn't have the graham central station ice-cream I wanted, so we decided to just leave again. The third time, we met friends there. Again, they did not have the graham central station ice-cream; I chose Dole Pineapple soft serve instead with Fruity Pebbles on top. The fourth time I went there, with my mother, on a whim because we were driving by, they did not have the graham central station ice-cream, and we decided to just leave. All four of those times were in the summer of 2023, once on a weekend, the rest on weekdays. When I go to an expensive ice-cream place like this, I'm only willing to spend money on things I don't usually see in tubs in a grocery store. Just my personal preference for how I spend my money. Anyway, the fifth time I went, today, I used my phone to check google first to see if they were open during winter. Google hours listed them open. I clicked on the menu website that is listed with their google business; it brought up an ordering page saying they were not currently taking orders, but it said they were open. I called to see; no one answered, and it disconnected without any kind of voicemail message. We stopped by in person to see, and it was closed with a hand-written note taped to the front door saying they're closed for the season. When I got home, I looked them up again online, and their main web page, which wasn't listed in the google business listing but can be found if you scroll further down a google search, has a graphic at the top stating they're closed for the winter season. First, I think a professional business should at least update their hours listed on Google and/or have a voicemail recording saying they're shut down for the winter. Second, I really think they should just take the graham central station off the menu already if they're never going to have it in stock and/or cannot calculate properly to keep it in stock to match demand. It seems odd to me. Other notes: Their dole whip soft serve is a miracle. It's really hard to find this stuff outside of Disney World / Disneyland, so that makes them stand out pretty hard in our region. They do not have indoor seating; you order inside, but it's outside only for seating with a handful of picnic tables and a grassy hill. Seems dog friendly. Plan/dress accordingly in regards to the weather. Because I've had such bad luck with this shop, I'm not keen on going back anytime soon unless I was really craving that dole whip. My first choice would be Salem Valley Farms Ice-Cream. I've never seen a graham central station style ice-cream there, though, or elsewhere, so I'll be looking around to see who else in the state might have it. Someday.... A person can dream, right?

I absolutely love cowslick. There ice cream is so so amazing my favorite is superman and it's so good. I hope they stay open all year around. Because who doesn't eat ice cream in the winter as well? I hope you stay open all year round! I will miss my superman ice cream so much! I love your store and ice cream sooooo much best place ever!!
