As usual, a wide menu with fun specials. Service was good on this busy night with a fast and freindly waiter. The dinning room can be loud at times but not overpowering. A consistently good restaurant.

There for a late lunch. The waitress came quickly for drink orders but since we were waiting for friends who were running 5 minutes late she said she'd be back. Drinks were brought promptly. A while after our friends arrived another waitress stopped by to get their drink orders and said our waitress would be right over. Nope. 20+ minutes later she finally arrived and took our order. Another close to 30 minutes before food came out - 3 salads with protein, one bowl of soup and one hot rice dish. It was late for lunch and they were not busy. It was lovely sitting outside, but we were on the edge and the sun started blasting through the window onto our table. I finally got up and closed the shade. Food was good, nice ambiance but felt pretty ignored by wait staff. I would give it another try.

We love this place and the manager Vanessa is the best manager in Connecticut, hands down. Like that new menu items continue to appear and tried another new one last night which was perfect for a nice spring day. Highly recommend. cheers

A wonderful experience again! Amy our server was outstanding, and the food was superb. There were a couple of dietary restrictions that were handled without question and perfectly. A fine culinary experience! Definitely returning soon.

I'm officially a big fan of Artisan and Chef Michael. Chef Michael catered a film we filmed in West Hartford and did a great job, so I thought it would be nice to take my wife to Artisan for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. The service and presentation was amazing and the specials were delicious. We will definitely return. Artisan has just made my top 5 list for fine dining in CT. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Artisan enjoys a prime location nestled within the Delmar. Positioned within the hotel, its entrance, though slightly concealed on the side of the building, adds to its allure. The hotel itself is a sight to behold, boasting architectural beauty and elegance. Inside, Artisan treats guests to a visually stunning interior and a breathtaking patio, offering an inviting atmosphere for diners. The culinary offerings match the ambiance, with delicately prepared dishes perfect for a leisurely lunch. While the prices may lean towards the higher end, they are reflective of the overall experience offered by Artisan.

the cocktails were inventive and excellent. staff outstanding and timely, the salad and mains were extraordinary and avoided the usual cliches and imbalances found in many restaurants. dine evening. we ate in the tavern area. part of it is rather exposed to doors so if weather not good. ask for table away from that part.

I am in town only for one evening, and I received a Recommendation to eat here. Not only was I blown away by the restaurant's beauty, but with the service, quality, presentation, and taste, I will give it a 5-star rating. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists visiting West Hartford.

Food was excellen, as it had been during previous times. Same goes with service. Table in the patio setting is relaxing. Could not ask for better quality.

We had Easter Dinner at the Artisan and it was wonderful! The food, the service, the wine, the ambiance was all top notch. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The Menu choices were varied and we all enjoyed our meals completely. We asked if they served dinner on Christmas and the very good news was YES! I recommend Artisan if you want to have dinner out on such a holiday - Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc. Relaxing and not focusing on cooking and serving and cleaning up is quite delightful for the person who normally is hosting the dinner - that would be me! So, think about them then... BUT, do THINK about them on any other day that you are looking for a Great Dining Experience.

Lovely experience. We were supposed to eat in the tavern but there was live music. No problem they happily moved us to the enclosed outdoor room which had heaters and was toasty and bright. Waiter was attentive and polite. Ordered the bread basket which is actually pastries. It was 3 croissants 2 almond croissants and 1 apple croissant. Yummy but could be more variety and maybe should be called croissant basket. Came with soft butter and jam. The main entrees were well done and presented. My breakfast burger I changed to have sweet potato fries no problem no up charge and delicious. Burger was great! Had a little side of coleslaw with kale and little bread and butter pickles. Great little details. I'd go back in a heartbeat and I was jealous of the next table that had a side of pancakes and the next table that had the crepe. Yum.

The food & drinks were wonderful, as was the ambiance. Everything was very clean, comfortable, & put together beautifully. Our service, however, was not the best. We waited at the entrance for far too long without a hostess approaching. We had to find someone in the restaurant to seat us for our reservation. Once seated, service was very slow & we often had empty drinks.

We arrived a bit early for our reservation (and before our guest), but the hostess said we could be seated whenever we were ready. The space is relaxed yet well-appointed, and the tables are nicely spaced in the main dining room. Our server was very attentive and friendly. While we sipped wine and perused the menu, we enjoyed some delightful warm hearty bread. My husband and I both had the hanger steak (medium rare) and fries which was was perfectly done in a rich brown sauce that was "lick the plate clean" good! Our guest was very pleased with her swordfish. For dessert, we opted for the chocolate creme brulee which was fabulously delicious and a perfect end to a perfect meal!
