I'm the mananager of Bridgewater Chocolate in West Hartford Center. Naturally, Easter is one of our most busy weekends. The owner of Barb's (I can't believe I forgot to get his name!) came in to get gifts for his family. While we were getting his order together, he mentioned he was the owner of Barb's. One of my team members, a West Hartford native, immediately exclaims, "You're the OWNER?! I love that place!" As we finished getting his order wrapped up, he offered to get us lunch. We are so incredibly thankful, and I think I have a new favorite pizza place in West Hartford. The cheese pizza we received was nothing short of phenomenal. Barb's Pizza made our entire day! Thank you again!

Had a delicious pizza from Barb's the other night. Fresh, good ingredients. Crust was fresh and excellent. Reminded me alot of the old Barb's. More reasonably priced than Pepe's and very good. We will be coming back. OOPS! Maybe we won't be going back. I just read Barry's flip reply from May regarding him not wearing a mask. I originally rated this a 4 because the pizza is good. I've changed it to a 1. Yes, Barry, whether you wear a freaking mask matters. A lot!

Excellent pizza with a nice crust and crunch.The owner loves the community. He always is taking time to talk to his customers and their kids. I will forever be a customer.We stopped by on a holiday thinking he was open but closing early. We walked up and saw he was closed. As we were walking away he came out. He said he saw how disappointed the kids were. He made them a large cheese pizza while we waited.Awesome.

My husband and I can never agree where to order pizza from, so I suggested Barb's, since I've walked past it many times. We ordered a large with 2 toppings and it came out to around $25 plus tax, which seemed a little pricey, but when I asked about it, the owner said that they've been trying to deal with the COVID struggle and insisted that I take a cookie. Barb's is pretty traditional pizza. To be honest, it tasted a lot like Chuck E. Cheese pizza. It's not my favorite, but it's not bad either. I think my husband liked it a little more than I did.

Enjoyed the pizza. Ordered ahead and picked pizza. Pizza crust was also very nice - tasty, crispy, they have outside sitting area also. Place is maintained well.

Pretty disappointed with the COVID safety or lack of. The chef has his mask under his nose, the cashiers had their masks under their chins, and at one point as we were eating on the patio they were running around laughing and taking the trash out next to us without masks as we were eating. We did not feel safe. We also had to wait an hour for our pizza.
Excellent pies and salads. Service goes above and beyond. Owner is behind counter and very involved.

Great pizza. We ordered the Chicago style, thicker crust pizza. Not "deep dish" like you might imagine. Crust was perfect. Quick and easy for takeout.
