It was paella day!!!!! 1/2 off paella 3/28/24! It was our first time here and we weren't disappointed! I thought for sure the place would be packed but it was nice and cozy. They have the prix fix menu for $29 and I think it's a good deal. They change their menu items monthly it seasonally we were told. We proceeded to get that plus two paellas So you get one tapa for the table: choice of pan con tomate or pimientos de padrón (shishito peppers) for the 1sr course. We selected the pan con tomate. The bread was nice and crispy. Tomato rub was perfect. 2nd course selec 2 per person (there were only two of us) we ordered: -Croquetas de setas (creamy mushroom croquettes) this was 3/5 for me. -patatas bravas (crispy potato) 5/5 I want more -albóndigas (beef and pork meatballs) - 1/5 it was pretty sour for me. The texture was nice but I didn't love it. -a steak dish with green sauce (forgot what it's called) but it was 100000 We also ordered two paellas Paella de mariscos 5/5 Fideuá negra - I didn't read this carefully but it's noodles not rice. Pretty freaky bec it' looks like it's moving but it was pretty good when I had it for left overs. 4/5 For dessert , you can select 2 from prix fix . We had one of each . Churro and olive lemon cake. We got a free churro from paella day but it was not the best. The olive oil lemon cake was pretty good. The service was superb I must say. Everyone was helpful and attentive. The sangrias were ok. We got one with rum and one with tequila. Probably why lol. Should have gotten a classic. Overall I can't wait to go back!!!!!

Food was good. But be careful, still water is $7 per bottle. Be sure to specify if you want tap water.

A Spanish tapas bar with a great happy hour... and just the location and ambiance makes it a must try!! At first the menu looks pricey for happy hour but after tasting the food ... it's absolutely justified. The food is top notch, we had the mushroom croquettes .. warm and creamy and rich they were to die for.. I loved it and probably be back just to have those again. The patatas braves.. not your average fried potato... they are served on a bed of sauce and drizzled with garlic mayo... uh!! Simply delicious!! The sangria looked fantastic but I opted for the Spanish cerveza... a really good lager ... easy to drink! Simple yet delicious....Absolutely 100% recommend!!

I thought the establishment was beautiful! Staff were friendly. The food was good and drinks were good. I felt the menu was good but limited with only a few things I would choose. I would've liked to see just more dinner options maybe.

The ambiance of the restaurant is the first thing to notice! Everything from the variety of drinks to the food are reasons to be back! The tapas come out as they're made so they're fresh & warm when brought to the table! My favorite is the roasted eggplant dish with focaccia! Can't wait to be back!

A very bizarre Sunday brunch experience! The good: our bartender was nice. Ish. The host held the door open for us on the way in. The weird: the chef was dressed in a full body denim jumpsuit sitting at the bar unless she had food to make. Our bartender forgot to hit "Send" on our first course salad so he gestured to her (the chef) and she got up from her laptop to come behind the bar and make our salad (which for $14 was literally pieces of lettuce and nothing else). The host was wearing sunglasses the entire time (?) and sitting at the bar with the chef and gossiping. Our very nice female bartender, Natalie, unfortunately left but the gentleman that took care of us was fine. For some reason he was insanely busy even though the restaurant was empty. The bad: The menu is basically a copy paste from Barcelona around the corner for double the price. We asked for suggestions and the bartender told us a few but seemed like he was confused as to why we would even ask that... he said he gets the egg sandwich without the peppers because "it's better without the peppers in my opinion." He told us it comes with a side salad but he can get me potatoes instead. He forgot to mention it was $5 extra for that. My friend ordered her eggs over medium and they were chalky. We didn't feel comfortable mentioning it to our bartender. However, I will say everythjng was delicious. Just very small portions for the price. TLDR: $160 for two people to have "unlimited" mimosas, salad, and two egg dishes.

I really suggest hitting this spot for happy hour. They have a great value happy hour menu with a few delicious tapas. For just tapas, with good quality, AND lower prices...I mean come on! Win all around. And they have a few of their also delicious cocktails for lower prices as well. Go just go!

Food portion was extraordinarily tiny for the price of a dinner. I am from Spain and yes we do tapas but the paella I ordered here was literally one grain layer thick of rice/noodle. Basically it was burned because it was one layer of rice in the pan. I had to scrape to get a forkful. I ordered un cortado and they put so much milk. That was not how un cortado is made. Its supposed to be a small amount or equal part of milk. It was one shot of espresso and like 8 oz of milk. Horrible. The staff was good. They were attentive and kind. The problem is this place is not truly Spainard. The food lacks flavor and portion for the paella was embarrassing

The service was a bit slow since being a Friday night the restaurant was very busy. We were going to a concert and as soon as they found out, they brought the food faster and our servant made sure that we are out of the door on time. Amazing food and wonderful servants.

Loud reverberating space. Meager pre prepared portions. Ham plate sampler was meager and was cut from.remnants left on the bone. Overpriced and iunsatisfying.

Just meh. Have been excited about this addition to West Hartford and finally got to try it last night. The new space looks lovely. This space has been turned over quite a few times over the years and the new bar area is beautiful. I was joined by 2 friends and we were excited to try a bunch of their tapas. Started with drinks - 1 friend got the Winter G&T which looked delightful. I got a red sangria - which was served in a rocks glass and was a light pink in color instead of red. It was on the sweeter side and not like traditional Spanish sangria I've had at other tapas restaurants. The food - it was just so underwhelming. And the dishes we ordered were supposed to be hot and 5 of the 7 were barely room temperature which was a big folly in my opinion. The Brussels had potential but were largely undercooked and still hard. The croquetas de jamón were delightful - they were set out first so I had high hopes. The mushroom flatbread was lacking - something? The patatas bravas are always a favorite but they were cold and had a small drizzle of garlic aioli (not enough). We got a few other things but nothing stood out unfortunately. Our waitress was sweet and knowledgeable. Service was fast and efficient. Not sure I'd be back.

Came here for lunch to try out this newer spot. Atmosphere was cool. The server was nice although it took a long time to get our check after finishing our meal. The arroz con Albondigas was delicious and for sure the star of the show. That's probably the only dish I would get again. The cheesecake was drowning in olive oil, which was very odd. The food was expensive, even with the lunch special. Overall had a decent time.
