Amazing ube ice cream, the taiyaki is great when just made, the second time we got it was cold which is not the best, but they were super kind enough to make us a new one, must try!

This place is an amazing place, great atmosphere with great staff that’s knowledgeable of the their menu. The teas are made in house and are phenomenal. A must try is the Jasmine green tea. Now onto the sweets, just wow mochi donuts and their ube ice cream is just amazing.

Cha Papi never fails to impress! Finally tried their mochi donuts and they were divine--totally worth the wait. My friend couldn't resist ordering the biscoff mochi doughnuts twice, a testament to its irresistible flavor. As always, their drinks were rich and delicious, completing another satisfying visit to Cha Papi.

What a great addition to a lovely mix of amazing Asian food offerings in Shields Plaza! So far, we've visited twice for Tayaki and the mochi donuts! Amazing!

I am now obsessed with UBE lattes. They have a great assortment of mochi donuts, that change weekly and their vibe and customer service is top for me. Must

We had the most delightful experience at this café on a Friday afternoon. Excellent music greeted us upon entering coupled with a modern minimalist aesthetic and chill vibe. The staff were super friendly and professional and the place was impeccably clean. The menu is simple which i am a big fan of. It seemed a bit pricey but once we received our order we could taste the quality and care in everything we had.We both had the Rose Black cha, hot and sweet with dairy milk. I am a fan of Rose tea so i was excited to see it on the menu. I had never had it with milk, so a new experience. Firstly, this was the best tea latte I've ever had! So flavorful and the texture was spot on. Sweet and creamy with exquisite rose flavor! The notes of the Black tea were also delightful and smooth. It seemed to be a high quality loose leaf china black with a good amount of floral but not overpowering. So delicious! Then we had to try the Mochi donuts. We shared a Vietnamese Coffee donut. It was soooo good! I thought nothing about price when I returned to the counter to purchase a second one, just the amazing taste and texture of perfection! We are fans of french pastry but this donut rivals any of the best coffee eclairs in terms of flavor!Very pleasurable afternoon café treat! I wish we lived closer, but we will find a time to return in the later spring!!

Service was quick and plenty of options. We had a couple of donuts that were not too sweet but just right. Lots of great tea options and a nice setup to hangout for a quick snack. Cost is comparable to any other coffee shop , this is the better option to help local business owner. We will be back

My daughter saw mochi donuts on tik tok and was determined to try them. What's great is this is one of the only places in our area for these types of donuts! It is in a plaza full of culture, which is another plus. It is a very plain storefront with some seating and tables and a counter to order. They have a weekly menu with different mochi donut flavors featured each week that i thought was fun. This week, we tried the chocolate churro, ube coconut, Vietnamese coffee, and cookies and cream. They also featured lemon poppy and rose black. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get the donuts, but it was nice that they were freshly made. They were airy and chewy and were all yummy. Each donut was 4.50, and we shared four. The "spill the tea" sign was a nice background for my pictures, and I'm glad we got to experience the new donut craze!

Pros: delicious mochi donut (i believe this is the only place has mochi donut in CT), rich tea flavor for their bubble tea, cute shopCons: mixed up orders ( my friend and i ordered 3 drinks- two were wrong. One was missing boba and one was ordered with no sweet, but it came out sweet), slow service (10 mins to get all our drink, the next order were even done before us)Sorry but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to get bubble tea here. Especially when their price tag is higher compared to other bubble tea place, i would expect a better service

There was a wait when my daughter and I went to grab some donuts, but it's Lunar New Year so I had no problem with that. The ube bubble tea was perfect, and the donuts had the most excellent taste and texture.
