Food was tasty. I did order a chicken salad sandwich, not a bread, lettuce and tomato sandwich with a "splash" of chicken sandwich. The other half was the same but by the time I had eaten half of the half and realized there was no chicken left I investigated and this is what I saw. Yes, that little pale area is actually the chicken. Look hard, it takes up about a third of the roll.

Terrible. Ordered a cinnamon bun and a cappuccino. The cinn. Bun was stale and hard and the cappuccino was Luke warm and 3 sips of coffee .all foam no coffee in a measly cup. My husband went up to the counter and opened the lid and said there is hardly any coffee. The answer was ..well, that’s a cappuccino, next time order the foam seperate. What? Never had I had a cappuccino like that..never again. This was the Glastonbury store

This is my #2 coffee spot in CT. You can't go wrong with HBC on Farmington. Get the Eggwich. It's worth it. Parking is tricky but don't let that stop you.Oh and wait the 5 minutes for a pour over coffee. Once upon a time ago, that's where I learned about coffee.Wheelchair accessibility: The entryway is level with the ground. There are tables on the main floor. The door is big so it may be tricky to navigate

My go to place for a good latte in West Hartford. Any bakery item is a 10/10 - especially their bread! The upstairs is a great place to work remotely, though it does get packed in the mornings!

The cobb salad was missing the hardboiled egg, there were no grape tomatoes (instead, a tiny amount of lackluster regular chopped ones), and no green goddess dressing; the ranch substitute I got instead was weirdly liquidy and foamy.

Hartford Baking Co. on Farmington Ave. in West Hartford offers a delightful culinary experience that seamlessly blends artisanal coffee craftsmanship with delectable, locally sourced ingredients. My visit to this establishment left me thoroughly impressed with the quality and attention to detail in both their beverages and food offerings. The mocha latte I ordered was a testament to their commitment to excellence. Handcrafted with a smooth blend sourced from coffee roasters in Canton, CT, it showcased the rich flavors and expertly crafted taste one would expect from a quality establishment. The balance of chocolate and coffee notes was impeccable, making it a delightful indulgence for any coffee enthusiast. Moving on to the food, I opted for the turkey bacon cheddar sandwich, featuring all natural antibiotic free range chicken and turkey products. Served on house-made country sourdough bread and accompanied by a generous layer of their buttermilk ranch, the sandwich was a true masterpiece. The bread, with its perfect crunch, provided a satisfying texture that complemented the succulent meats and savory bacon. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with the ingredients harmoniously layered to create a memorable culinary experience. One of the standout aspects of my visit was the exceptional service provided by Emily. Her attention to customers and efficiency in handling orders added to the overall positive impression of the establishment. Despite the wait in line, the service was well worth it, as it contributed to a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Definitely recommend!

Nice place in West Hartford Center to catch up with family and friends or to get work done as there is plenty of seating upstairs and not too loud. I ordered the E-BAT breakfast sandwich and an iced latte with syrup. The sandwich was really good, the flavor and textures worked well together. I did not enjoy the latte however, it tasted bitter to me and I could not even finish it.

This location of The Hartford Baking Company is always busy. They make delicious breads, sandwiches, pastries, cookies and brownies. Yum! At work one time my coworker ordered us their sandwiches to be delivered, they arrived hot, with cheese and turkey and all the other goods. It was the highlight of my day! On my most recent trip to The Hartford Baking Company, I got something a bit different. I got their matcha latte! It was ready after a short wait, and I took it upstairs. You can also sit downstairs, but the seating is limited and it's typically taken. The space upstairs is spacious, and has plenty of light. The large windows give you a good view of the happenings below on Farmington Avenue. My matcha latte, needed a bit of sugar, to mellow out the bitterness. After that it was delicious with all of its green glory. It was thoroughly blended, as there wasn't any loose matcha at the bottom of my cup. I've had their capuccino before, it was a let down, the cup arrived with all foam and basically very, very little coffee. They use Giv coffee beans, for their coffee, so you know it's quality. Stop by The Hartford Baking Company for a tasty lunch, breakfast or a coffee.

Great local spot for breakfast sandwiches. Go to Hery and Allison for special twists on the EBAT sandwich. I got the Jam EBAT. If you’re looking for something sweet and and salty Hery can hook you up.Parking: S Main Street has good parking for a quick dine or pickup.
