The Kaliubon in West Hartford is the best. My all time fav restaurant. Comfort food, friendly staff, and relaxed environment. The perfect place to unwind and eat tasty well prepared food. Excellent option for Ramen in West Hartford. We have ordered take out and dined in. Both times the food was flavorful and well prepared. Take out was well packed so there was no spilling in the car. They were even insightful enough to include information about reheating once home. When we dined in, we experienced a bit of a delay with being seated, and they seemed a bit disorganized that day. The waiter was attentive after we got our table, however. We will definitely return.

The miso was as delicious and so I would recommend to anyone who likes ramen and happens to be in the area because this is a great place to stop by and the wait for food wasn't long at all and it was cooked perfectly so I enjoyed it thoroughly. Best ramen I've had in CT, and best of all, soo allergy friendly. I'm allergic to gluten and dairy and our server brought me their gluten free menu. It's RARE that a restaurants allergen-free dishes are any good. Here, the gluten free bowls are incredibly rich and delicious as if they contained the allergens! Our server even offered to have our appetizer made gluten free. Reasonably priced, filling and bang for your buck. Quality seafood and noodles.
So this was my first time going was very excited, but I have to say I got the wonton noodle bowl and the broth was absolutely disgusting tasted like dirty dishwater The lunch special came with the cucumbers that had to have the sauce and everything on it. It looks like it was just thrown in, I got California rolls as well. They were OK but there was no soy sauce. I definitely will not be getting this again or going back. Very disappointed.

Excellent, pork belly bao with tons of crispy fatty flavor, augmented with crisp vegetables, cilantro and a very tasty sauce. The Hot and Sour Ramen bowl was done Szechaun Style with braised short rib, ground pork, spicy broth, seasoned boiled egg, cilantro and green onions. This was a delightful experience, I highly recommend this little Asian bistro serving up very big bold spicy flavors.
