I've been here a couple of times now and both times were great. The service was quick, friendly, and fast. The food came out looking and tatsing delicious. I've only dined outside on their spacious patio because the weather was great. They had the heater blasting which I requested to to be turned down because it was burning my head, other patrons agreed.I started off with a Saturday fun day glass of their Green Mind Avocado Margarita, yes, you read that right; avocado mixed into a margarita, very interesting but it worked. The drink was on the smaller side for $13 and change but it was good and I could taste the slight creaminess of the avocado. They had a good sized cocktail menu and a variety of craft beers.On this most recent visit, I had the Korean BBQ burger. OMG, juicy and flavorful; it had gochujang mayo, kimchi, onion straws, and Korean BBQ sauce. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I wished there were more pickled cucumber slices because those were BANGIN'. Overall, a great experience at lunch and can't wait to try out their other burgers.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available

Max’s was great. A casual, but not fast casual burger joint, but elevated. We went on a quiet Friday afternoon instead of the bar, and the bartender was great and attentive. She introduced me to a new drink with a twist. Basically it was their avocado margarita, and it was fantastic. She was able to customize it and make it spicyWe had the chicken sandwich (spicy mutherclucker) and the steakhouse burger. Both were fantastic. Definitely come with an appetite because these flavors will satisfy.I hope to return and test out the consistency and quality and service. They do have meatloaf on the menu which I’m looking forward to trying next time.

Max Burger used to be amazing months ago. Have been coming every couple of months and it keeps getting worse every time. I ordered the Texican and it was undercooked from what I ordered. No flavor, very bland, and messy burger. The fries were unsalted for sure, and very bland as well. You'd think they know how to make a burger at a burger place... Don't waste $18 on a sad burger and fries.

Wanted something laid back but in West Hartford so max burger it was. I started with the wings and spinach dip. The buffalo was pretty good. We got a mustard based sauce that I was not a fan of flavor wise but I did enjoy the texture of the wing. Crispy and juicy. The spinach dip I would never order again. Not for me. Goat cheese based I think. It's mainly cheese barely any spinach. I got a basic burger with bacon. I was not impressed. The burger was so charred on the bottom.... It was burnt. What I could savage was decent though. I do enjoy the burgers at max fish better. I'm sure it's a chef thing. The service was good even on such a busy day. She had the entire house to herself. Hats off to her. They did bring over a free dessert for my birthday.

Received a meal that appears to have been sabotaged deliberately. The bun was hard and the medium burger I asked for was so burnt and hard I could have crumbled it and used it to fill a small pothole.If you guys don’t want people to call you for take out later in the night, just say you guys are no longer taking. This will be the last time I ever come here.

The feel in this place is a relaxed rustic energy. I love the decor, lighting, spacing of tables, and the overall feel. It's exactly what I would expect for a good burger bar. The Onion rings were off the hook! The pseudo Russian dressing sauce on the side was very tasty. We both had a Texican burger, mine had no cheese. The burger was big, tough to eat for a small mouth. The burger was cooked exactly as requested and was super juicy and flavorful. The service was incredibly friendly, accurate, and well-timed. I will definitely be going back. Breaking a diet for this place is well worth it. Remember to tip well.

This restaurant continues to maintain excellent food quality, service and menu variety, as well as extensive drink selections. Today we had a great server with exceptional menu knowledge who was able recall a favorite burger of ours that we could no longer find on the new menu, and had it made as we remembered. The burgers are proportional to the rolls, and for some reason, do not slide and fall apart like so many others making the whole meal more enjoyable. No question we will be back.
