This was my third time visiting this Thai place. I think it’s a very good place if you like spicy food because they can make really good spicy food .However i had gone before covid and it was a well kept restaurant but on going yesterday it didn’t look so welcoming and also the plates that were served were very worn out. I think most of their business maybe with takeouts . There were not many servers and all as well. Just the family running the business.Sweet chili sample-5/5Crispy crab curry-4/5Drunken noodles-4/5Red chicken curry-5/5 bcz of the spice levelService is fast, food is good. And they do check your bill as they do apply 12% service charge additionally when you dine in.

The Thai tea was exactly what I was craving and was amazing. The pai Thai was good but it was put into the to-go container too soon. The noodles gummed together and reheating it didn't help. The crab ragoon was also amazing and the dipping sause paired perfectly. I will go back but to eat in vs take out.

Service and ambiance at sweet chili are great. Some menu items like the Shumai are excellent. Some menu items are not as good. Potato's in massaman curry not cooked. Hard and inedible. I'd give 3 1/2 if I could.

Friendly people great food and clean and beautiful place to dine in. My favorite dish is their yellow curry with chicken. Sticky rice here is amazing. Great place for family to eat.

Good Thai food. We were going to a show at the park road playhouse and our friends chose this location for dinner. It's extremely convenient for the theater and the food is pretty good. I had the drunken noodles with chicken and tofu. The menu said it was spicy but I didn't detect any spice initially. The waiter brought me some hot oil and that changed things for me. Their hot oil is very unique and it really made my dish sing. The staff was very nice and it was also very busy.

Indulging in the green papaya salad with seafood at this charming Thai restaurant in West Hartford was a delightful culinary experience. The dish showcased a perfect balance of flavors and textures, with the crispness of green papaya melding seamlessly with the freshness of assorted seafood. The salad's vibrant colors mirrored its lively taste, as the tangy dressing elevated the dish, providing a zesty kick that awakened the taste buds. The seafood, a medley of shrimp and squid, was impeccably cooked, tender and succulent, complementing the crunchy papaya strands. Each bite offered a symphony of tastes, from the umami richness of the seafood to the slight heat from finely chopped Thai chili. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the dining experience memorable. The attentive staff and prompt service added to the positive impression. In summary, the green papaya salad with seafood at this West Hartford Thai gem is a culinary masterpiece, combining fresh ingredients, skillful preparation, and a cozy ambiance for an unforgettable dining experience.

Good food but pick it up or eat there. Don't have it delivered especially if your address is messed up in navigation.

Every dish was superb, and we had many for our party of 10, but the shrimp dish (wish I could remember the name) was outstanding and so was the salmon with mango. The major plus was the staff that easily moved tables to accommodate our original party of 5 to a final party of 10, with no fuss! BRAVO!

Few good things to say about this restaurant. But I will only tell you that the food here is so good that I am reviewing and at the same time planning my next time here.

I'm not a Thai guy, but, I liked the restaurant's name. To start i had the Sweet Chili Sampler - A combination of chicken satay, spring rolls, bags of gold, and shumai, with soy sauce, duck sauce, and a peanut sauce. I loved them all, care taken for each sample. I then had pork Pad Thai, Homemade rice noodles with pork, tamarind sauce, egg, bean sprouts, chives, and ground peanuts. It came with a fresh dinner salad with a oeanut, maybe ginger, dressing. I asked for hot sauce and got three, I had the sweet chili sauce, it brought my meal to the next level! Loved it. Different than Chinese, lots of tasty fun!!-

I have eaten here a few times and fallen in love with this place. Definitely my favorite Thai place around! First off, the Crab Rangoon is divine with that lovely sweet chili dipping sauce and you can never go wrong with the Spring Rolls! The Pad Thai here is great and absolutely a must-try. But, my favorite dish has to be the Pineapple Fried Rice (w/shrimp and extra pineapple), it is amazing! Wash it all down with a creamy Thai Iced Tea and you’ll be in heaven too! ? ? ?
