I stole a few of the onion straws and they were crispy and flavorful.Me, however, decided to mix it up with the Red Stag Bourbon Burger. Now, using a cherry bourbon to make a bbq sauce is unique, but not weird. Delicious, but not weird.However... This burger has cream cheese on it alongside it's caramelized onions, bacon and bbq sauce. Cream cheese on a burger? That's just weird enough for me to try and not be turned off by. Surprisingly, it didn't really give a cream cheese flavor but it definitely was unique and worth the chance.Next time, I'll try the Nona's chicken, which I wavered back and forth getting but wanted to add something out of the usual tonight and got what I was after!

At the end of a college visit weekend, my daughter and I decided to try a local place for a burger (or a patty melt in my case.) It turned out to be an excellent choice and a highlight of our trip out east. Our server was top-notch. She had a fantastic IPA recommendation from a local brewery. The meat was cooked to perfection, on both the burger and the patty melt. The sides were great. Even the background music was great. It's rare to have all of that align in one visit. But, it happened tonight. Thanks!

We tried this place recently & it was awesome! We sat at the bar and had the taco egg roll special to start, I ordered the honey sriracha shrimp bowl (with the sauce on the side because I’m a wimp) & my boyfriend had a spicy chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious & plates were beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful in making recommendations! It’s a huge space and would definitely be a fun place for a night out with friends. Highly recommend!

Breakwall is amazing. Love the specials that get changed out every two weeks and also amazing burgers and Philly Cheesesteak! Everyone in there is so attentive with anything you need. Melonie is absolutely amazing there we tend to get her the most for service when there. Very attentive and friendly. Nice warm place to go for dinner or apps after a long work day as we are frequent customers here on a weekly basis.

A legit gastro pub in West Haven. We need more of this: old favorites and new twists served with a chef's eye for quality in all aspects. The beer selection is a breath of fresh air as well ... more than just IPA's and good local representation. And the specialty cocktails are quality as well. A little slow of a start. But my fiance and I went as it was right near the boardwalk and we were hungry. It's a relatively small place but feels cozy and warm (went during the winter). They have live bands quite frequently and the staff are very nice. The food came out relatively quick after giving our order (about 15-20 minutes). My goodness was my burger wild! Never seen so much beer cheese in my life. Will definitely go back and recommend it if you're in West haven.Parking: It's technically decent enough for the size of the place. But depending on how many people take individual cars (or in our case, motorcycles), it can get a little cramped.
