The service was impeccable, the food was magnificent and the atmosphere was clean and nice. I like to consider myself a taco aficionado and in the last two years, I have tried every taco place in West Haven and Orange. These are, hands down, the best tacos in the area. My wife got the fajitas, which were also the best we have tried. The El Salvadoran options are also a perfect touch to an already perfect place. We love Chiquita Queen and will probably return before the end of the week.

I have a Salvadoran quesadilla and it was burn on the bottom so they replace it with another one but the taste doesn’t taste like a Salvadoran quesadillaplus when I did the check out they overprice me it was five dollars and then the bill came out for seven dollars so when you go to this restaurant look at your bill closely plus they already charge you for that customer service that means the other tip the food overall 3/10

Food was good and authentic. Only one server was working and he did fine but clearly wasn't in any rush to ensure customers weren't waiting around. Took longer than it should've for the non-busy time we went. I was really liking the place regardless bc food was good and it was relatively clean. But then we finally got the check and they had added a 15% gratuity (as a "service charge") when there was only 3 of us. Plus it was added prior to taxes being calculated. I questioned him to understand what this charge was for, but he was just like yea it is what it is. I don't like having my choice taken from me. His loss though bc l normally tip 20%. But I'm frustrated about paying taxes based on the tip being included. Then the copy to sign comes back and there was yet another fee added in for using a credit card. Yet there was no warning anywhere that there would be a fee for that! So i left feeling disgruntled even though the food was good and I was pretty satisfied before the check came other than the slowness.

Hit or miss. House made tortillas and sopes are good, meat is sometimes good sometimes inedible. Pupusas and platos are reliably good, but everything is too expensive (even pre-2022).

Found it while looking to eat at another place. We had the tacos dorados and pastor tacos. Delicious! On par with California taqueria food.

They have the worst time management skills, they don't even know what time they open, prices have gone up over a 45% increase in cost to purchase any food here. Food is great but basic advertising skills are lacking. I do recommend the food, don't expect much from the service, specially at the cost of the food, you'll have more expectations, that aren't met.

Stopped by on our way from NJ to Boston(after visiting PEZ visitor center) on 4/5/22.Excellent service and super fresh food. We all loved the food we ordered. We definitely have to come back for some Pupusas too.So glad we found this restaurant??.

Disappointing experience. I was really excited to try this place given the great reviews. I ordered the pollo frito special and was surprised that it cost $18. Also, the amount of food that was given was so small (very little rice/salad and three small pieces of chicken). The food wasn't bad but I'd suggest going somewhere else
