Everyone kept telling me to visit this restaurant, and now I can see why! From the moment you walk in, you can tell that there are a lot of regulars, and everyone loves coming back repeatedly. it also feels like a very cozy family restaurant. We ordered so many dishes for our table to try and were not disappointed by any of them. We tried everything from the sake cocktails to the spicy mussels and of course a few different sushi rolls. All I can say is that the hype is absolutely warranted and I will be back for more!

this place had very unique vibes. it feels like a place where a lot of locals hangout. a lot of people enjoy sitting at the sushi bar. there are a lot of roll options but many of them include a mayo sauce, which isn’t my favorite and it’s on the inside of the rolls. overall the service was good, prices are decent and the food was not bad!

This is now our favorite place for sushi. Their quality of the food is excellent and the service is outstanding. We went there for Friday night dinner and it was busy. But our orders of sushi came out quickly. Definitely I will recommend it to anyone looking for sushi .

Daiko Jerry San’s Sushi Bar makes the freshest, tastiest and most authentic sushi around!! The prices are more than reasonable. Jerry’s spicy sauce is phenomenal!! It’s definitely on the spicy side but definitely delicious. The restaurant is immaculate, Jerry is very friendly as is all of his staff. I wish they were open 7 days a week. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. They open at 4:30pm. They have off street parking. You can sit at the sushi bar, table or order takeout. I HIGHLY recommend Jerry San’s and can’t say enough excellent things about them. I’ve been going there since they moved from West Haven and will continue to be a lifelong customer. You just HAVE to give them a try and you will be too.Parking: Plenty of off street parking. Free to park. Parking lot.
Jerry’s was amazing! I used to go to his New Haven location (before Covid) and then moved to Boston. We were devastated to hear they had closed. Then I got diagnosed with #celiac (uggh! ??♀️). But then Jerry has re-opened at this AMAZING location. We love it and brought the whole family! And they totally accommodated my #glutenfree allergies. The sushi is fresh, the atmosphere is celebratory, and it is celiac-safe with GF soy sauce and careful preparation. Thank you, Jerry!

The best sushi restaurant !! I love the food, so fresh and delicious. Jerry is not only a wonderful cook, but very personable and fun. You have to also try the spicy mayo- so flavorful.
The new place is very beautiful inside. And somehow, the food has gotten better. The flavors are amazing. We got takeout and were somehow still blown away after eating Jerry Sans sushi for over 15 years. Next time we are definitely going to eat there. The ambiance seemed so nice.

Legit some of the best sushi I've ever had. Everything tastes better, literally. Owner had a place in West Haven for years but moved to Branford recently. Stopped in random Tuesday and sat next to a 20 year loyal customer that was back at Jerry San's place for the first time since they moved and they couldn't rave enough about the food (specifically the spicy mussels) and Jerry.
