Unacceptable amount of steak and cheese on my quesadilla, let's not mention the size of it. When I callled the restaurant they did not even offer a reduce price or credit on the order.

I work in the area and have been ordering from Fresh Taco for 10 years. So much so that Uber eats has me ranked as a top 5 of there most loyal customers lol embarrassing but true. My coworkers and I love their shrimp tacos. The crispy shell with any filling really, is delicious. And I love the salsa, everything is really fresh. They skimp a little bit on the sour cream cups, but that's alright with me because I prefer a half dozen of their cute little salsa cups. The soft flour tortillas are delicious and you can tell they're made from scratch. In all my times ordering here I've gotten a mistake on my order maybe twice? But they fixed it for me immediately by bringing us the food we didn't get. And that was even though the delivery was through Uber eats. Anyway, the other negative reviews here don't make sense to me.. maybe they're commenting on the wrong restaurant, or I've gotten lucky every time I've ordered here in 10 years.

Don't order the "steak" platter, it should be called Rice and Bean platter, less than 1oz of "steak", and yes, I actually took the "steak off, and weighed it. (looked more like a single piece of steak tip shaved and added as a garnish).

We ordered all the same items as in my last review, we even ordered take out Chinese last week as their fresh taco machine was being repaired. I learned they had moved when I went to pickup my order and found it was no longer Fresh Taco — easy to find, Elm St turns into Grand Avenue (#305) and they are located about 1/2 mile down in the corner or Blatchley Avenue. And to my surprise there’s a great Mexican bakery next door, Panaderia La Tapatia! Enjoy! ¡Disfrutar!

Ever end up somewhere that leaves you questioning your life choices? Wandering into this establishment left me feeling disorientated and caught off guard. Had I used the bathroom prior to ordering I would've walked right back out. Ran, even. About 13 years ago while in college in New Haven I had stopped into this place (or some rendition of a taco stand in this location) and found it good enough that all these years I thought, "why not?" I'll tell you why not. Chimichangas aren't egg rolls. Chicken taco was doable but really? This is a Chinese restaurant trying to sell Mexican. Staff eating Asian Soup (which actually looked better than my sad taco) at tables. Giving 2 stars because we didn't get food poisoning and that, my friends, is the real win of this experience.

Do not order delivery from here. They will assure you on three separate phone calls that the already late order is on the way then call you back and tell you the order was never received. GRUBHUBBERS BEWARE

I used to be a regular customer of this place when I was a teenager finishing high school. I especially liked their tacos, used to order delivery but ended up being too expensive and the delivery service was awful at the time. This was between 2003-2004. Nostalgia kicked in and I ordered through grubhub. With the mostly negative reviews of cold food and late delivery, I lucked out and got my food in 20 minutes and it was still warm. The tacos tasted the same; I always enjoyed the steak tacos, but didn't remember it being so greasy. The quesadilla was okay, but the salad was disgusting. I'm pretty sure you don't serve salad hot?? How are these guys even in business this long unless people in CT see mediocrity and trash as a delicacy. I don't even think drunks and stoners with the munchies would want this stuff.
