I was quite dissatisfied with the food and it was not very good, definitely things you could easily make at home for like $5. Would not recommend going there to eat maybe just drink at the bar.

I asked for a spicy margarita, which they don't have on the menu and the bartender made the best one ever. He even came over to ask how it was. Our waitress was amazing, the food and atmosphere was fantastic. Need to check out this gem!

Great atmosphere and location, food was delicious (though a little spicy across the board), good value, service was not too attentive as we sat with empty waters and cocktails for the majority of our main course. Pro Tip: Get the eggplant chips - id go back JUST for those alone!

Andolutely awful food. Burned bread on sanwich- with the burned sife up? And the beef rib was so dry i could not eat even half. Fries were decent and service wasn't awful, but would rate it a 2 on a sacle of ten.

I've been to Amis a few times and always enjoyed it. The food is very good. My last visit wasn't as good. The appetizers were great but my pasta was dry. Otherwise, service was excellent and everything else was as good as my previous visits.

The service was exceptional and all the staff were very cordial and accommodating Each meal was prepared wonderfully The family enjoyed the service as well as the food and drinks Desert was exceptional,as well. You could definitely tell the servers were present to make your visit a memorable one Thanks to the staff of Amis Trattoria. You made our experience worthwhile

Overall it was nice however our waiter got less pleasant as the evening went on. It seemed he was annoyed about something. Maybe he was having a bad day but he should not take it out or make it obvious to your customets?

We had a nice time but they were understaffed. The bathrooms were awful. Our server was lovely - but the bar was short staffed, took too long for someone to greet us. Expected more. The entrees were delish tho - rigatoni and short rib.
Our res was at 6:30 and we were seated close to 7 due to guests who lingered despite they were told they needed to be on there way at 6:30 - well, allegedly anyway. The waiting area was a pseudo bar area with tons of staff traffic and an unattended child/guest. On the bright side, my pinot grigio was good. Little gem Ceasar - meh, short on flavor. Nothing special. And then came the bolognese - simply unedible as it had no flavor. Clearly it wasn't actually bolognese as bolognese by its very nature has flavor. The hostesses were mostly amenable and had the good sense to comp our wine.

Me and my wife were in Amis Trattoria in Westport on Saturday October 15 around 2pm.Just few people there, restaurant was empty and almost all tables were free. We asked manager for the table in a shadow (sunny day); table was for 4 persons among all other free tables.Manager told us that despite empty restaurant we should use ONLY table for two. We realized it was not worth arguing with unfriendly and unprofessional manager and just left. Not coming back with our friends or family anymore.This is very sad that such unqualified person being on manager’s position destruct people from using this business.Better to have some profit than nothing.

Ugh. Let me start off, i usually do not like to complain. I Had dinner with my wife on Friday night here, we frequent this restaurant often enough to see a huge change in food. But that could be new cooks.. who knows, but the vegan pasta was watery and lacked and flavor. Although the positive to the tasteless food was our staff!! I

We can’t say enough good things about Amis… The delicious food, The homemade pasta. the ambience, the big beautiful windows, the amazingly accommodating and friendly staff… And most of all Michelle- the worlds greatest event planner! We felt like we were with family throughout the entire process of planning a dinner for birthday celebrations! We will return and recommend Amis Trattoria to everyone!

It will be a while before we go back. Unfortunately we had the worst service during this dinner that we have had in a long time. We have dined here many times and it's one of our favorite local restaurants. Our appetizers took over 45 minutes to arrive while we watched the two tables next to us get theirs as well as their cocktails and entrees. By the time we finally got our starters all the tables that came in at the same time as we did were finished. We were not offered any extra bread nor were we offered compensation off of any of our menu items. Such a disappointing and frustrating experience for a $200 bill for 2 people.
