Wow, it's been 8 years since my last review. So happy owner is doing well. It's a good location to stop and pick up whatever you may need when traveling around Westport. Easy and ample parking lot. Keep going strong!

Helpful staff, decent selection, but know what you are looking for (and how much it should cost) before you go. I saw a bottle of EH Taylor small batch for sale for $189, which is just laughable. Got the same bottle for $43 in VA.

I ordered a bottle of wine from them through a third party app. The order was confirmed and processed but never shipped. I reached out several times as this was supposed to be a gift. By the time they did reach out they informed me that Black Bear did not have the inventory to fulfill the order and it would be canceled. This was about 2 weeks after I placed the order, too late to make an alternate plan. Be cautious dealing with the seller.

For the information that she could not provide me I was told someone would be in touch with me in the morning. I received a call early the next morning and was given the information i needed soon afterwards. After placing the order I was kept up-to-date on the order status by the store. I purchased a very high-end bottle of liquor and could not be more happy with the service provided.

Ordered wine at Black Bear online through Vivino on December 14th. Last night I sent an inquiry as to shipping status. Today , December 19th I was informed my order had been canceled due to lack of supply. The Christmas party is today. This is not only a lack of inventory but inventory control and poor shipping protocol and customer notification. Vivino should not use Black Bear. Thanks for nothing Black Bear..had you just let me know I could have shopped elsewhere.
