Best Italian Food , Best pasta , best wine and best service . I think there is nothing similar around in Connecticut . they produce the fresh pasta inside the restaurant and they use the Italian Organic semola that they import from Italy . Alle the sauce and all the food is home made and when you talk with the chef he can totally share his passion and commitment about the Italian food . Grazie Pastaficio you saved us

The focaccia is a must get! It comes freshly baked - the top and bottom are crisped and well seasoned, while the inside is soft and chewy. The creamy bolognese sauce was delicate and heavenly, nicely coating the fresh pasta. It is comparable to pasta you can find in nyc.Our appetizers were okay. The seared vegetables were just fine and the octopus was a little too mushy.Service was great and the space is very clean. While the appetizers we ordered were not impressive, I would come back for the pastas and the bread!

Took a drive to check out their Westport location. If you love pasta then this is the place to go. Most restaurants pasta is a side dish but here it’s highly focused on. Not many restaurants make their own pasta these days but everything you have here is made here. The Gnocchettes are fried instead of boiled and served with their drinkable sauce. The sauce should be on the drink menu in my opinion.Their focaccia bread is a must with more drinkable sauce.I got the Duck Ragù as seen on Guy Fieri’s DDD. This dish was loaded with flavor and not what you expect, it’s a must try.I also got the “make your own” tiramisu which has got to be the tastiest I’ve ever had. If people were not in the restaurant I would have picked the bowl.

Pleasantly surprised I loved a meal in Westport and had VERY nice service. Most delicious gelato ever from Italy! Loved the tartufo lasagna - very rich, heavy but delicious. Delicious pasta with bolognese sauce too. They have the best quality Parmesan here from Italy- the wedge is $28/pound and a ton better than what you get at other stores around here!

I had a girls night at Il Pastficio last night and it was absolutely delicious!! Such a fun evening and a very chill vibe. We started with Gli Affettati Misti without the Burrata (which I regret). The meat was super fresh with a good variety and the focaccia was toasted and delicious! We also got the "Gnocchets" to try - pan frying gnocchi is a new phenomenon to me, but oh wow is it delicious, especially smothered in the marinara. You really get to taste the quality of the handmade pasta this way, and it's worth it! For entree, my friend ordered La Lasagna Bolognese which was tasty and I ordered the Rigatoni all'Amatriciana which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce had a solid amount of guanciale, the taste pairing well with the San Marzano. I couldn't finish it so I took it home and it still tasted great reheated! For dessert we ordered the Affogato which was so refreshing after all the tomato sauces! I also ordered the Torta Al Limone - the flavor was ok, but I thought the shell was a little hard. Next time I'll follow the waitress's advice and go with the Tiramisu! I chatted with the awesome wait staff in Italian, and everyone was super lovely and welcoming! I'll definitely be coming back with my family! Grazie!

Oh my! What a wonderful Italian restaurant. We were in the area and walked by this place and what an amazing place this is. The pasta which is served is all homemade and it was spectacular. We started off with some focaccia bread, so good, with some olive oil on the side. Next I ordered the lasagna bolognese which had to be the best piece of lasagna I ever had. My girlfriend had the Rigatoni pasta and she loved the simplicity of the dish, but with the fresh homemade pasta; she said it was perfect! For dessert we had to construct our own tiramisu. It was ok but it did not compare with the rest of the meal. See my attached video for how it was made. Next time we will have a different dessert. This restaurant also offers take home meals which I imagine they should be just as good as the meal we had. In addition we were able to purchase some Italian cheese which I am looking forward to trying. We have definitely found a new favorite Italian restaurant.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed, the pasta was excellent, but I didn’t like the dish, Tagliatelle Al Ragu, itself. There was no sauce at all, too many carrots which gives a sweet taste, no spices.

This place is a 100% Italian jewel! The quality of the food is exceptional and I think I ate the best pasta in Connecticut. Short ribs have a unique flavor and a softness that melts in your mouth. Good wine list and excellent service that makes this restaurant a place to spend a couple of hours of absolute quality! I highly recommend it to all acquaintances and lovers of authentic Italian food!

Arrived at 6:36- received menu and water at 6:42 - ordered food around 6:46 ( 2 appetizers- 2 orders pasta) - received my pastas at 8:13. And the pastas were too salty. After waiting for more than 1 hour for my main course, and the food is not even that good… I honestly don’t have any appetite for dessert… since I got full from waiting so long. Maybe you have a different experience here; if so, absolutely enjoy your experience. But this was my first experience with this restaurant and definitely never again.
