Great restaurant. Unique specials that go beyond the expected dishes, but the classics were great too. Excellent service on a busy night

OVERPRICED! BAD QUALITY FOOD! We order the Mexican chicken wings with spicy salsa! DISGUSTING!!! Dried out chicken in oversaturated nasty buffalo flavored hot sauce. The funny things is the guy that took my order bragged that all the hot sauce and salsa are made in-house.. Gross. I also ordered a $20 burriot that should have been more like $8.50. There used to be a another Mexican restaurant at the same location that was great, clearly this guy is trying to roll off there success. I will Never again order anything from this place.

The best Mexican food I have had . Small hole in the wall but delivers the best flavors .I had Bistek Vaquero and it was the most flavorful skirt steak you can have. Highly recommend !!!The wait staff was very helpful in answering any questions and to be honest not a lot of conversation needs to take place the food speaks for its self .

My husband and I were blown away by the quality and flavor of our dishes! Sean was very attentive and made our experience that much better. We weren’t even halfway through dinner when I asked my husband, “When can we come back?” HIGHLY recommend.

I’ll start by saying that the cemita and the French fries were very good. But that was the only good food we had. The guacamole is not fresh, it taste EXACTLY like the pre-packed guac from BJs. Also the burger had no flavor, like the patty, veggies, toppings all needed salt. Lastly the waiter gave me a hard time for telling him the burger had no taste so it wasn’t a very pleasant experience.

I had a mixed experience, missing some flavor in some dishes , ambiance is awesome , I guess fully designed with Aztec civilization . Good parking space , food rate way too high such a normal restaurant, there are better Mexican restaurants in Norwalk for better price. Overall we payed close too 100$ for service , tax , then some meal tax ( I don’t even know what it is ) , To be clear this is over Tip, my tip is not give tip .. to add complementary guacamole is not free ?

Loved the food here! I moved to Norwalk 3 years ago and have found the Mexican food to be really hit or miss. This place was great! The quac was excellent though a bit cold. Mole sauce was delicious. Chips=delicious. The cheese empanadas were great but it was really the mole sauce that did it for me. It was a bit on the sweet side but had a nice spicy little kick. Will return. My new favorite place.

Open until 9 on Sunday. Lucky for us because we had a friend in town and wanted to grab a late dinner. We started with the guacamole. It was chilled, a little colder than my preference, but the flavor was very good, well balanced, fresh cilantro, mild, but noticeable kick of spicy heat. The chips were warm. My friend ordered the beef chimichanga. She said it was well spiced and shredded beef. My fiancé and I shared the mole cheese enchiladas. The mole was ever so slightly sweet with just enough heat. We had to keep ourselves from licking the plate. If I had any more room after the generous portions, I would have ordered dessert because the table across from us had some fried, sugared deliciousness that caught my eye. Maybe next time. We are looking forward to it.
