A classy way to experience Japanese cuisine! Love the vibe at this former firehouse. We visited on a Wednesday evening and they were packed, so this is definitely a popular spot, and for good reason! They have a great variety on the menu with some unique items that I don’t see too often on typical Japanese restaurants, like the crab fried rice with quail eggs and wild mushroom bao. We really enjoyed the matcha Kit Kats for dessert! Impressive timing from the kitchen and professional staff. Definitely a great place to dine in Westport!

My husband and I had a date night dinner at OKO in Westport, CT. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Julia and Rosy did a good job recommending some of the items we ordered. Also had a chance to meet chef Brian, he was very friendly. All the staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming, it made us feel comfortable. Overall, we had a great time!Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat meat, I had fish and veggie items. The fish in this restaurant is very fresh

Great food, service was interesting. Very reasonable food for price but just something seems off. If dining before the last seating be prepared to feel rushed so they can turn over the table.

The service here has never been great, but the food kept us coming back. Dinner was greeted with issues from the second we walked in the door. The hostess claimed we were already seated, with a huge attitude. I'm not seated, I just walked through the door, you sort it out without giving me attitude. Drink orders were taken promptly, then we were not visited by our server for over 30 minutes. Food order was finally taken after asking to have our order taken. Food was amazing, went to order more and we were told kitchen was closed. Every other restaurant I've been to, including ones a fraction of the cost will tell when the kitchen is closing. It's such a shame because the food is so great. The cost of diner should warrant the most basic of service. I expect more for a fine dining establishment in Westport.

First time coming here in several months...and won't be returning anytime soon. Service was really a problem, almost as if our server forgot about us and our food. Other table came and went before we got the majority of our food. I'm a big believer in letting a manager know so that they can do something to correct the problem. But honestly it didn't get better even after speaking with the manager on duty. Too bad - food is still good.

Amazing quality of food. Best omakase in Fairfield County. If you're in the mood for quality Nigiri come here. Saves you a trip into the city :)
The food was fabulous but the service was not so good. I felt like they were rushing us out the minute we sat down. And we got there at 5 o'clock. I came to dessert and we felt like we were being rushed out even eat our dessert. Otherwise, everything was pretty great food was delicious. Very very good

Love Oko. Delicious food and friendly service. I find the Westport location a little cramped but it’s still a great night out. Very expensive but you get what you pay for.

Me and my wife have been going to Oko for years now . Sat at the bar and had such a good time . Food is delicious, cocktails were well crafted and shaken to perfection by bartenders Nancy and Gulianna. Oko will always be a must whenever we want fantastic food, cocktails , service and atmosphere . 5 stars in every category!!

Not impressed with the Chirashi. The rice was bland and the selection of sashimi was not great. The unagi was not expected but I am not a big fan of that anyway. Serving was small.
Fish is very good. Service is good and ambience is nice. It was a bit cold, glad i had a wool sweater on. The sashimi was great but do wish they would offer a couple of rolls. 4.5 stars
