First time coming here with friends a few weeks ago. We first sat at the bar then went upstairs and had a lovely experience from start to finish. The bartender was super nice and our waiter was awesome. I have forgotten his name now but he was super efficient and helpful when we asked questions about the salad options and wine. I can't wait to go back.

My girlfriend and I stopped in Westport for dinner on our way home to NY from a weekend in Boston. We were hoping for a nice, relaxing meal in an outdoor setting and were lucky enough to find Parker Mansion. Our server quickly guided us upstairs to the outdoor seating area, after which we were presented with the complimentary bread and hummus, which was very good. Both of us were very pleased with our meals and liked the setting on the river very much. The staff was very quick to take care of our needs at all times, but left us alone for the right amount of time while we enjoyed our food. If ever in Westport again I would certainly like to come back.

Absolutely fantastic! One of the best experiences I have ever had. I usually go to a lot of different restaurants ranging from different ratings, different cuisines and cultures, and different price ranges; let me just say that this is one of the best places I have been to. The food was amazing and the servers were all extremely nice. I absolutely loved their matching orange shirts! Will definitely be coming back!

It's exceptionally rare that I have a dining experience so bad, I feel compelled to leave a negative review about it. Unfortunately, I did at Parker Mansion. My wife ordered the swordfish, and the first time it was brought to her, the fish was slathered with Cajun seasoning. According to their menu, their salmon is what comes with Cajun seasoning on it, not the swordfish. My wife sent it back, with clear instructions to the waitress that she wanted her fish "plain - nothing on it at all please." When the meal came for the second time, the swordfish had a large, clearly visible mound of salt on it. The waitress, who clearly hadn't passed the make it plain request on to the kitchen, tried to pass it off as "just a pinch" - it most certainly wasn't, making the fish inedible for a second time. The waitress (without us asking her to) went and got the manager, who told us they would take my wife's meal off the bill and then asked her if she'd like something else instead. She went with the "shrimp vs clams" dish, (which I also had, and did enjoy). By the time my wife's third meal finally came, I was long finished with mine, which meant we both got to watch each other eat instead of eating dinner together. Then the bill came - and that's when things really took a turn for the worse. The first bill still had the swordfish dish on it, and when I pointed that out to the waitress, she revised it... to have two shrimp vs clams dinners on it instead. As noted previously, the manager had said he'd take my wife's meal off the bill, so we asked for him and reminded him of his promise. At first, he tried to renege by claiming he meant he'd take the swordfish meal off the bill. Well, of course - why would we pay for a meal that wasn't eaten because the restaurant screwed it up, and not once but twice? That's simple logic, not good customer service. He then grudgingly agreed to remove her meal from the bill, but did so with a rude and snarky "It's only money, right?!" followed by an even ruder "Crazy!" over his shoulder as he walked away. By this time, our waitress' face had soured into a childish pout. She took the bill for payment and returned it without saying a single word - and then topped off her own rude behavior by tossing the bill holder on the table rather than handing it back. We did absolutely nothing to merit the shockingly rude treatment we received tonight. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby, and elsewhere in Westport - do yourself a favor and choose one of them. Parker Mansion won't appreciate your business, and they certainly don't deserve it. EPILOGUE: A few days later, while reconciling my receipts against my credit card statement, I discovered Parker Mansion overcharged me by nearly 50%. Of course, I immediately called my credit card, opened a dispute, and got a credit - for the entire bill. Thus, thanks to their shady business practices (they're very lucky I'm not litigious), Parker Mansion wound up getting from me exactly what they deserved: nothing at all.

Had dinner with friends. Wanted to try it as we have eaten at the Trumbull restaurant. Interesting renovated house. Dockside tables and outside bar as well as inside. Lounge on main Flor small but you can eat there as well. Upstairs dining. Problem for our fried who has muscle difficulties but made it. Outside dining on terrace looking over the river. Colin was our waiter and did a great job in all areas. I had the Oysters Rockefeller and shrimp and clams over linguine. Excellent flavors and presentation. Had the Bramble gin drink which was very good but a little sweeter than I like. Pat has done a great job and we can't wait till he opens his new place in Trumbull

Good location (on the water!). Good food. Great attentive service. The acoustics are terrible...Meaning the noise echo's all around you (maybe put some noise dampening wall coverings or something would help). I'd recommend Parker Mansion for drinks and snacks rather than a big night out. Overall good!

Food was good. Service could have been a lot better. Awesome view!!

Great food, cute bar and awesome drinks. Plus if you get a seat upstairs you can view the water

With great seating right on the waterfront this location has a little bit for everyone. Had a nice time here as the service went above and beyond and everyone was upbeat and super friendly. Had the French Onion Soup, grilled shrimp, and an entree of pan seared scallops.
