Service was good. Small cozy place. View of the river on one side. Food was just ok. Could use more flavor in the beef salad. We also ordered Pad see ew and duck basil. It was basic nothing to write home about.

Ordered takeout from here and no other way to put it than it was bad! Chicken in my fried was so incredibly dry must have been many days old. The shrimp in my penang also had weird mushy consistency. The rice part of the fried rice and penang curry part were okay enough to salvage the meal. I'm surprised by the good reviews. I recommend you search elsewhere for Thai food. If you can't execute these basic staples, I doubt much else would be good.

Rainbow Thai is just plain delicious. They are excellent for in-house dining and take-out alike. The food is consistently perfect. The staff are kind and very prompt on delivery. I've begun to order from Rainbow Thai at least once a week!

Don’t know who needs to hear this but this is the spot for Thai take out in CT.I don’t look at the menu anymore (I’m sure the other food is great) but my order is: papaya salad, pad see ew chicken (but I think the picture actually shows pad kee mao that’s my b), vegetable green curry, and shaking beef. Hits all categories and is well-balanced.The food comes out fast and I always do take out. The parking to pick it up is actually quite a pain given where they are located. But it’s worth it!

Nice spot right on the water. We got Masaman Curry with tofu and Drunken Noodles with chicken. Fresh, delicious dishes. The staff are attentive. Definitely recommended.

The establishment called about my review and refunded me money so I am adding a star for good client service. Ordered fried rice and pad see ew for take out. Both orders tasted stale especially the noodle which has a rancid kinda smell. We had to throw our food out. Just disgusting.

We have eaten here and ordered out many times. Our last two orders had mistakes. In fact, the last delivery order was completely wrong. The manager refused to accept that an error had been made and refused to issue a refund. So sad to know we will not be eating there again.
