Went there for a 40th birthday party and it was such a great time. Great ambiance, food, and service!

We typically go to the Norwalk Romannaci for takeout . We are regulars at that location for takeout. Unfortunately they were closed tonight due to renovations and this location was recommended by the gentleman that answered the phone. We ordered the staples we get from the Norwalk location: Pollo Fior di Latte, Ravioli, Gnocchi, Cacio e Pepe…for a total of $97. Despite similar pricing , the quality was abysmal.Example: the cost of pollo di fiore is the same at both locations, however at the Westport location the container is filled primarily with penne pasta and topped with very small pieces of chicken (did not taste fresh)The same dish at Norwalk is 100% chicken. We do not mind paying $97 for pasta but not for poor quality such as what was served tonight. We could not eat the food and will be looking for an alternative tonight.

Good food, good service. Loved the pizza here! Definitely a lot to choose from within walking distance but you can't go wrong with Romanicci!

Time and time again this place never disappoints. We keep going back. Affordable in Westport. We like the variety, the short rib polenta is a favorite. Great service and always get a table. We bring our children and friends here. Awesome

3 Arancini the size of golf balls for $9 no filling and no salt. Served with a watered down vodka sauce. The Cacio e Pepe was a raw mass of fresh pasta, again no salt, swimming in a half inch of some kind of oil (not olive oil) I took one bite and threw it in the garbage. Gross food, overpriced, no seasoning. Schifo???

Everything was excellent and they were so accommodating to our party of 10. The pizza is quite good with only one tiny drawback - the bacon was crumble-style instead of strips. The secret to bacon pizza is the allow the fat/grease to cook into the pizza to add the heartiest part of the meat's flavor to the pie. The agrumi salad is super delicious. And they have non-alcoholic beer! A real plus.
It looks amazing but no flavor, no salt, no Italian spice at all! LOOKS AREDECEIVING! 2 stars salad is really sad stalecroutons, these guys have the look and name but that’s the only thing authentically Italian about this place! I would guess not Italian cooks!

So disappointing tonight?. Wait staff indifferent. First course came out cold. Shrimp dish, which was once a go-to dish, sad to say tasteless. We were surprised that the restaurant was half full on a Saturday night but after the meal realize maybe everyone is going to the competition. You guys used to be better than this. We no longer live here but you need to get back in the game to stay relevant — westport has a lot of choices.

Excellent coffee stop before jumping on the city-bound train. The banana muffin the barista recommended was *chef’s kiss*
