My wife and I ordered take-out from Tacombi. We had been to one in Jersey city a long time ago and recalled it was quite delicious. So we were eager to try it when it came to Westport. To our delight the food was delicious. I had a Birria Taco Plato, I thought it was flavorful the beef did not disappoint maybe wish there was more. I like how they package it for take-out. My wife had the fish taco and shrimp taco. I tried shrimp taco, it had a very bold flavor that catchs the back sides of the tounge (highly recommend). We also ordered corn esquites, best way to eat corn. Their Totopos (tortilla chips) are addicting nice crunch goes well with guacamole. We also chicken quesidilla, which was also pleasant maybe could have used more cheese. I look forward to dining in as the weather gets better.

Let me start off by saying this place gets 5 stars for quality and taste! It is absolutely delicious and so fresh. The sauces are excellent! But the only reason this place gets 3 stars is the portions are so small when you order through Uber. Don’t count on being full you’ll need to order a few things to satiate your appetite. I know as Americans we eat a lot so this would probably be a nice portion for Europeans, but believe me when I tell you the portion is not big enough. I paid $17 a plate (birria plate) and I was extremely disappointed at the portion size I thought it was at least like a normal Mexican taco place where the bowls are a decent size. This was more like a side dish for my kids. Not a full meal for a grown adult.

The food here is great, but the service here is ABSOLUTELY UNPARALLELED.Our waiter Anthony anticipated our needs before we needed them, refilling our water glasses and bringing fresh cervezas without us having to lift a finger.Anthony's service was truly Michelin Star Worthy.I can't wait to come back to Tacombi, Westport CT and sit in Anthony's section!

Ive been to Tacombi in NYC and the one in Westport, CT. I really enjoy the street tacos. Small but delish and filling. The santa sandia margarita is one of the things that makes Tacombi stand out. The bean and sweet potato taco was bangin!

Great, welcoming service. Pita - lovely hostess couldn’t have been any more friendly. She brought us some tasty mocktails that brought me right to the Caribbean! Our waitress, Tamara, was friendly, honest and helpful. The manager, Anthony, was great as well. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner and will be back.I did mention that they should make the phone number more accessible. They just opened up for in house dining so a phone number would be helpful.

Finally visited for lunch and it was delicious. Service was a little inconsistent but they were very responsive and explained they had recently switched from self serve to full service and made the effort to give us additional dishes. All extremely pleasant and professional- it won’t stop us fromComing again and look forward to dinner in the summer.Tacos were phenomenal - fresh beautiful ingredients! We had the sinaloa shrimp, baja crispy cod, beef birria, carne asada, al pastor quesadilla and avocado tostada.

So disappointed I was starving have the food up . It was old chicken so oily greasy took one bit and had oily taco shell which fell apart. Well they just lost me my family and friends from coming to their restaurant. I wish you luck if you order from them .

Hands down the best chips, tacos, quesadillas and salsa in the area. And there's a cool factor to the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Food was made fresh with good healthy ingredients and tasted delicious: grilled fish taco and chicken burrito - service was well organized with easy ordering and food came out quickly. The standout was the house made hot sauce. Though we did take out the restaurant that a friendly vibe and appealing for a sit down meal. - ok this may sound odd but we were impressed with the parking lot's layout was with consideration to safety and access We'll be back!

When this place opened, you could not get a sit. People were waiting in lines. The taste of the food is good but the place is slowing down because people do not want to pay $7-$8 per taco. They should lower the price or give some freebies. People do not want to spend $20-$30 for lunch at a very casual atmosphere and not get much for it. It is Westport but is not NYC.

I wish there were stars on the negative side. This restaurant is deplorable in service, food quality & ambiance. They take your order tableside & make you pay AND tip before the food has arrived. The server disappears, the food arrives from a food runner on a plastic tray/paper plates. Nobody checked back in with us after delivery of the food. I’ve eaten at this restaurant in New York & the food/experience was good. The food today in Westport was terribly heavy, greasy & not well put together. Clearly they don’t care about the experience. On top of everything NO ONE said one word to us on our departure. No thank you. No goodbye. Save your money. Go to Bodega in Fairfield, CT.
