Best restaurant in Westport, classic white tablecloth italian dining experience. The food is phenomenal and drinks are on point. Only place I look forward to when I’m in

We stay in Bridgeport on our Christmas drives to Maine just to eat at Tarantino's!

The food was simply fantastic. The pastas are to die for. But the ribs eye was amazing as well. The tricolor salad was by far one of the best I have eaten anywhere.

My children were visiting me from out-of-state before I was to go into the hospital for major surgery. We had eaten lunch a previous year at Tarantino, and it was very pleasant. Everything about this year's experience was disappointingly bad--the food, the service, the ambiance! Upon entering, we were given the "fish eye" as though, "What are you doing here?" The place was virtually empty when we arrived. We were immediately served some Italian bread and olive oil (so far, so good)! Then we ordered...For me, the Ragout of Eggplant--has a few shrimp, totally scant eggplant--surprisingly minimal, though the flavor was good. It was just such a stingy portion! My son ordered a squid dish--contained barely enough food to get through the rest of the day. My daughter-in-law had the only satisfactory (though not splendid) dish--one of the chicken choices. Not feeling fulfilled, we went for the dessert--bread pudding, always a favorite. It was quite dried out, really hard to swallow (guess they used the leftover Italian bread that we enjoyed at the start!) Meantime, the restaurant had filled up a bit. Staff seemed quite jovial with the other diners. Again, strange looks from the Maitre d'....did we remind him of someone? Was this a "clubby" situation?? Was it our clothing/nothing bizarre at all? Who knows??? No matter--will never step foot in there again! PS The check with tip was near $90.

Ordered lunch take-out for 2 people. Salmon entree and Pollo Balsamico. Quality was overall very acceptable for fish and chicken, but portions were not. Very small portions.Chicken entree came with 2 small pieces of broccoli. Salmon came with 2 pieces of broccoli. Neither came with a side - need to offer options to add rice, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, risotto, macaroni, garlic bread, french fries, chips even? It needed a side- some type of starch or filler. I’d be more than happy to pay a few dollars extra per meal if it included a side as most other competitors include this. It should include a side. We’re heading over to Pizza Lyfe to grab a slice of pizza now so we can feel like we ate a filling meal. We are not heavy eaters, we are accustomed to light fare. However, this was not a filling lunch.Parking: Tricky as this is the train station so very hard to find parking.

Just moved back to Westport and had dinner at Tarantino. Always my favorite when I lived here and is even better now. Perfection!

The service is exceptional and the food tastes fresh and homemade. I had the insalata cacio e pera, pappardelle alla ossobucco and chocolate mousse cake, still thinking about it - all so good! What i remember most is that, starting with the person who took the reservation, to the hostess, waiter and all other staff who attended to us, we felt appreciated. Even though we came late and stayed a bit past closing, everyone went out of their way to be friendly, extra accommodating and make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and not feeling rushed. I think that is rare at restaurants these days, where many have shortened their business hours. Thank you, Tarantino's! :-)

Wow! I've been to Tarantino's in the past and they just keep getting better! This is my favorite of the restraints they own! Say hi to the owner, Frank, when you go there ... Great guy!

Tarantino is genuinely terrific. Fun, vibrant, mixed dining crowd of couples and families, young and older, an excellent, unusual menu with a lot of depth. - not just the expected Italian restaurant things. For example, their scallops wrapped in prosciutto in a cognac cream sauce were divine. The stuffed whole artichoke was superb. Nice selection of house made pastas. Good service too. And it was not too noisy, at least where we were seated. Prices are typical for Fairfield County, which means they are on the high side, but not crazy.

There's a reason they have been around so long. 5 stars across the board... food, service and ambiance.

We rolled into Tarantino late & road weary. All we wanted was a bowl of spaghetti and a glass of wine. The dark ambience, two seats at the bar, and a smile from our bartender were exactly what we needed. The fresh pasta was excellent, the wine recommended was delicious, and we went to bed so happy. I envy anyone who calls the train station across the street their stop. I would never make it home on time. I would be a regular at Tarantino!

My wife and I visited this location for the first time tonight. I must say we were blown away by Klever Miguel, he was super attentive and walked us through the menu. The food was excellent but what made our night was Klever. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and ensured we enjoyed our experience. I highly recommend this location and my wife and I look forward to coming back.
