Straight As for Tengda!! This restaurant is our consistent go-to for delicious Pan-Asian food and sushi in Westport & FF County. The ingredients are always fresh and the taste never disappoints our foodie palettes & high-standards. A big bonus for our family is that the menu offers plenty of Gluten Free options and the kitchen takes food allergies seriously and attentively. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing and inviting. My girl friend invited me go to Tengda for lunch.I really didn’t want to go there, the reason is My family and I went here on New Years Day and had a terrible experience place. In the middle of my order, the waiter disappears. After some time, I went to look for him. I found him at the bar and asked him, "What is going on?" He screamed,"Leave me alone!" After that, I just asked for my bill and left. We should've talked to management, but my kids were starving. Horrible service!

He was not taking care us , after more than 30 minutes we got our food, without any excuse(This man have no manners, nasty, rude)

The worst sushi I ever had and it’s not like we tried one dish we tried five different types of sushi. It’s really hard to not get sushi right the spicy tuna roll did not taste OK the crab roll did not taste OK. The only thing that was edible was the avocado roll, the cooked food was so bad we didn’t even take a second bite. I went there with my daughters and the reason I’m posting this is I don’t want anybody else to go waste their money until they change no one should go to Tangga. This was a wonderful place at one time. It’s horrible now the service was OK . This was the worst food in a restaurant. I’ve tasted in my entire life again the people were OK, but the food is edible.

I had ordered sesame chicken. The chicken pieces were all very strange. Some chewy and inedible, some were dry and stringy. Not what I was expecting for the price $$$$
I get the lunch special in the restaurant or occasional sushi take out. It is always a good experience and the food never disappoints. Highly recommend the homemade pork dumpling!

Fusion places, confusion places.Disclaimer. We were a LARGE group.Food arrived for some after others had finished eating.Nothing seemed great, nothing seemed bad. I guess that is what happens when a place tries to do all types of food. This place is NOT offering fusion cuisine. It offers many Asian cuisines' options.Not a place I would return, others in my party liked it. Especially those that had the generous neat pours of whisky.

I got their supposedly gluten free sesame chicken two days ago and I have been in acute distress ever since. I don’t know if it’s food poisoning or if their chicken dish was actually gluten free (or if it was a combination of issues) but I have felt horrible ever since. It feels like food poisoning and maybe also some gluten was in my food as I have celiac disease as well. Definitely not going back. Really sad to report.
