Awesome location with very friendly staff. Came here and ordered the lychee slush on an unusually warm March winter/spring day.The slush was delicious and the popping boba and lychee jelly were the icing on top. Very tasty and will be back to this location when I'm in town!

First of all I love this place! Unfortunately when I went today, I ordered my usual crème brûlée milk tea. The woman making it paused in the middle of making it, blew her nose and the went to continue with my order. It wasn't until I stopped her and asked her to blow her nose that she did so. Very upsetting. And also, my crème brûlée milk tea did not have the lovely sugar crust that it should have had- disappointing

One of the better places for bubble tea in the area. It's a good spot if you want a quick pick-up, but could use more sit-in places for ambiance. The service is ok. Nothing fancy as one would expect from a bubble tea place.

The store looks very clean and I love the interior design. Their milk teas are always delicious with outstanding quality. I highly recommend trying their classic milk teas. They are amazing!

I don't know if there was a boba shortage tonight but I got a large, and usually when I go to whale tea in Fairfield it comes up an inch above the bottom, but westport gave me barely half an inch. Sad sad.

Ordered online 3 drinks. Instead of the large one, she gave us a smaller size and exchanged it after my daughter pointed out. One of the drinks was supposed to be taro but did not look like taro, purple color, and again we pointed out, but she did not want to redo it and keep telling us it was taro. Of course, it doesn't taste like taro, more like a chocolate milk, and went straight to the trash. Do not recommend this place.

Lady who worked July 10th at 330 was awful awful awful. She made someone else’s order before mine. Didn’t follow anything I wanted such as light ice or 30% sugar and extra boba. She put zero sugar and half the cup is with ice and nothing extra. And she was very rude. Will not return. The New Haven location is way

I liked my Whale Tea. Grab a drink and head over to the park across the street. I may very well be addicted to the brown sugar line of drinks now.Hope this location adds more food items like the other locations have.Check this place out. I hope they are around to stay!

five stars!! Though I haven't tried everything, very good service and really good boba!! The place itself is very nice, clean environment, and welcoming.

Amazing drinks, quick service, music is always good! In a great location a little bit of a hike for me but on the way home from work it's a great place to stop

I'm not the most experienced Boba drinker, but I've heard good things about the Whale Tea's various locations. I often get fruit teas, but I've been trying to branch out. At this Whale Tea location at least, you order and pay at a kiosk and they tell you when your drink is ready. I went with one of The Whale Tea's signature drinks -- The Whale Crystal. The kiosk pic for this order showed horizontal blue, white and orange-brownish layers. The description said it was coconut milk and peach jelly. When they handed the tea to me, there was no blue layer. Just a white and orange-brownish layer. That was disappointing since I was largely going for the visual. I wouldn't think that I had to add something to my order to achieve the blue layer since it was the pic for this order. But as I said, I'm not experienced with Boba Tea.I'm sure the tea was fine for it was, but I didn't really connect with it. That sometimes happens when you try new things. The coconut milk layer tasted on point. The peach jelly had the texture of small gummy pieces. It tasted fine.I would try the Whale Tea Again, but not this drink.4 Stars

I ordered delivery through the website. The order was picked up 30 after I initially got the receipt. The brown sugar milk tea I received had some type of chunks similar to torn jello at the bottom (I only ordered with tapioca) and the tea had powdered milk instead of fresh milk. Moral of the story, don’t order delivery closer to closing times.

We love this place! Its super authentic and favorite thing is that you can customize ANY drink to your sweetness preference from zero to 0-100% I love how every drink is made fresh to order and they don't use any funky chemicals or powders. Even the Taro for their fresh milk tea is cooked from scratch, it smells like heaven when they are cooking it. They have lots of toppings from traditional tapioca Boba, to popping Boba and even a peach jelly that is my absolute favorite. The milk foam tastes like an interesting sweet and salty whipped cream, I recommend to give it a try!
