Very dirty the moment you walk through the door. Dust everywhere, dead flies in the window, floors need to be swept. The cashier was smoking a cigarette and did not wash his hands while packing food. I give this resteraunt zero stars. It needs to be shut down and inspected by the health department.

I ordered for pick up with a live human being (and recognized his voice from past orders) but when I went to pick it up 20 min later the place was closed. It's obvious he/they stepped out for lunch because I could smell the food. Why did he not warn me he was closing shortly when I ordered?

Been looking for a good chinese take out in the Fairfield/Westport area for so long... I think I've finally found it!!! Everything tasted so fresh and yummy! We ordered streamed pork dumplings, roast pork chow fun, wonton soup, an egg roll and orange chicken.. all delish

We have ordered from them many times and usually were satisfied. This time we ordered for us and 2 guests for New Year's Eve. The only positive things i can say about it is that it was delivered on time and that the soups were as good as always. Aside from that, there was something wrong with each dish. We ordered eggplant with shrimp, told them to hold the shrimp and include more eggplant or another veggie. They did not do that and it was overcooked and mushy. We ordered Peking Duck with 6 wrappers. It came with 3 wrappers. And, instead of the slices of crispy duck expected in the dish, we got 2 dried out duck drumsticks and a few dried pieces of duck. We ordered crispy beef in orange sauce and asked for "spicy". Not only wasn't it spicy, but it wasn't crispy. We ordered chow fun which came glued together like a brick. No fortune cookies included. I wrote a letter to them complaining and asked for a response; got nothing. '

Delicious delicious delicious - had to be my favorite pork fried rice I’ve *ever* had! Dumplings (both steamed and fried since my husband and I differ) we’re outstanding. Great job!! Definitely will order again.

I'm sorry, we've been using Westport Chinese Takeout for almost 20 years and they are great. A staple in Westport and anytime there has been an error, they've corrected it. Enough on that. The food is great, the service great and they represent the best of Chinese take-out. Now read this closely, "the best of Chinese take-out." This is not Gourmet Chinese Cuisine, don't expect Cafe China and a Michelin star. This is really good, local Chinese take-out (or delivery). Its exactly what you hope for when your craving a pile of fried rice (oh no, I just realized I didn't order Fried Rice with my order tonight). Eat like the locals in Westport and give Westport Chinese Takeout a try. It does get exceptionally busy but the patience is worth it.

Food is ok but the delivery times are just ridiculous. One hour is a minimum, and I might live 5 minutes away. Tonight it was 2 hours. When I called to check, they just never answered the phone

Terrible food, chicken was cold and undercooked, dumplings were awful. I don't understand how can you ruin a lo mein but they did it. Don't order form this place!.

Ordered food tonight and as I ate it, I found 2 eggshells cooked within the noodles! Disgusting!

He treated me less than human! When I bought my wonton soup I put an item in his garbage can and he started screaming, yelling, and running around the kitchen banging stuff saying how dare I put something in his garbage can—this is not a public garbage can! He threw my credit card and receipt on the counter and kept yelling until someone else entered the restaurant . I’ll NEVER spend my money there again!

I went to try here for lunch one day, and after getting out of my car to walk into the restaurant. I had to walk by their basement, which they had the door opened and a fan blowing, I must say the smell that came out of that basement smelled like something died 10 times! It was absolutely disgusting. Needless, to say I didn't end up eating here. Also, the restaurant looked very unclean.

We've been getting their food delivered for years now, and have rarely been disappointed. Always fresh, the egg rolls crispy and full of goodies, as is the wanton soup. If it wasn't perfect, what is? They try hard and get it right most of the time. We're still fans and will keep ordering when that "gotta have Chinese food craving hits!

STAY AWAY! Hands down, the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I'll be surprised if I don't get food poisoning. We took a couple bites and threw it all out. I don't know how this place hasn't been shut down.
