Was looking to try pizza in the Hartford area as I hadn't been there before. Saw Village Pizza high up on recommended lists and gave it a try.I saw they had different options available for crust, so I tried a large thick crust (bacon/meatball) and a medium regular crust with pepperoni.In hindsight I wish I had done the opposite but live and learn.The pepperoni pizza looked 10/10. And it tasted almost as good. I felt like I got thick crust on this pizza instead of normal though. Maybe they just have one style of crust and advertised incorrectly? Either way it tasted great so I wouldn't complain much.The bacon/meatball was just alright. They cube their meatball pieces but I didn't get much flavor from them. The bacon was flavorful though and overall it was good enough to eat.I would recommend getting extra cheese or something to add a little grease to the pizza as the dough was a bit dry (though flavorful).I only got take out but the environment was great and seemed like a perfect spot for locals to return to regularly. I would go back but probably stick to the pepperoni personally.

John, Art and staff are always cheerful and happy to serve us. We have been going here for nearly 40 years. The food is always delicious and served on time. The delivery guys are awesome and always polite.Vegetarian options: You can order a whole veggie pizza.Parking: When it’s a busy night, parking can be a bit tricky.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get through the doors.

According to a friend, many locals go over there as their "town pizza restaurant." The food tastes like many other town pizza shops, which is fine by me. The service is good because the workers are friendly. It is a little small inside with around 15 tables. Basic, good restaurant, would recommend.
Very happy with our visit. It was Dec 27, most restaurants and coffee shops were closed due to holiday hours but they were open. We did not expect much but the seafood pizza was the best we’ve ever had. Good service and affordable price, given food quality and location. Very nice setting and I really like to map of all the old buildings in Old Wethersfield “Village”.

My family loves the food especially the pizza! I ordered fries for the first time and WOW!!! they were amazing. Crispy on the outside, soft inside with the perfect amount of salt. I ended up bringing two pizzas home with me for my grandchildren for Thanksgiving. They loved it!!! So happy I found this place. Delicious!!!Vegetarian options: Salads, Veggie subs
