This is a pillar in the town of Wethersfield. The food is always so fresh with ample portions. I had a large antipasto and eggplant fries that were heavenly!
I don't like the meat in the deep dish. For 32+ bucks I want good meat filling not meatloaf breading mix.... Its terrible!

Me and my husband came to Connecticut for the '90s Con and we got a little hungry so we looked up some restaurants and we found Vito's so we left the hotel and went there. The service was wonderful from the moment we walked in but let's get to the food. They said fried mozzarella with sauce. I was very skeptical but the waiter informed me that they make it fresh in house It was just mozzarella sticks but made in house and a marinara sauce on the side. I got the fettuccine alfredo With prosciutto My husband got the chicken parm with shells and I got to drink Berry bubbles. Now during the last few years it's been very difficult for people to stay afloat financially and health-wise. This food was horrifying. I also had the chicken orzo soup. It wasn't bad but not that great. The fettuccine alfredo was like Jared sauce which they sell if you're going to spend money, pay for gas go out for dinner I highly recommend. Don't waste your time. It's not worth all the hassle. My husband ate all his food but he wasn't impressed either I heard the pizza's good. But we didn't get it I hope this review helps somebody not to waste their time and money by the way, I didn't want to complain at the restaurant. I'm only writing this review for people to know it's not that great

After being away for 20 years, my husband and I rediscovered Vitos. The first time we went back, everything was delicious, especially the pizza. Each time we went after that, it went a little more down hill. I don't know what happened, but the "Vitos" style pizza just isn't the same anymore. The wine prices are ridiculous, one glass of house wine cost the same as one bottle in the liquor store (I could tell it was inexpensive wine because of the acid reflux I got from it). I think if you want people to purchase alcoholic beverages, the price should be lowered. We haven't tried the meals, smaller portions, but big prices. I think that in honor of their faithful customers, they should lower the prices.
