I went to pick up two pizzas on a day when most of Connecticut lost power. Toozy Patza had just opened it stores. There was complete darkness, they had a couple of generators running and they were handing out pizzas. Baked to perfection. They couldn't take credit cards since there was no network available. Hadn't been here in a number of years. So glad I went. While there are no longer any lunch specials, you can't go wrong with their individual pizza slices. An impressive array of beverages. To my surprise, they actually sell "to go" cans of alcohol beverages. I asked for a slice with chicken topping. They corrected me by telling me it's a chicken Parm slice. Okay, whatever.
