The new owners ruined literally everything. They closed the counter and forced everyone into the inside dining area. They added “cultural” accents everywhere, didn’t clean the place well and changed the food. Both the food and the place was disgusting. Sad to see Barts end up the way it did. Used to have the best hotdogs around. New owners have driven this place so low, I can get a better hotdog now at Johnny's Falafel Hut. Wouldn't go back if it was the only place around, and I needed hotdogs to live.

New owners as of 2023. They closed the walk up counter. That was the charm of the whole place. Food and service is terrible now. Why buy an established popular restaurant and completely change it? If you loved the old barts, it doesn't exist anymore. End of an era.

I have been to “The Original” Barts multiple times and you felt the family vibe and they were good dogs. Now… “the new” barts is no good. I will not be coming back. Nothing tastes the same, I didn’t feel that family vibe, and to be frank…. The food just was not good. Too bad they the new owners couldn’t keep up what was there already. If you want to be different… change the name. This is NOT Barts.

Not the same Bart’s as it used to be. Very unfortunate. I had a make your own footlong hot dog. The hot dog was really disgusting and loaded with garlic. It appears the new owners are looking to save money on cheaper quality meats. I won’t go back. Place empty @ 12:30 on a beautiful fall day. It doesn’t look like they will be around long.

Bad news. The new owners closed the left side of the business. No more counter where you could watch them make your food at the grill. That was the whole charm of the place. They cook in back now and you wait forever for the food. Several people were complaining that they got the orders wrong and waited too long. People don't want to go in and sit down and order. The place was known for its lunch counter, good hot dogs and fast service. It's all gone now. Why buy a place and totally change it? 50 years of tradition gone. It will be closed in no time.

I ordered a BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato) and this is what I was given. Stale bread, half a slice of bacon, a sliver of onion, and a smidge of mayo. I would've been more satisfied eating canned dog food instead of the "sandwich" yall served me. They serve better sandwiches in prison. THE INGREDIENTS ARE LITERALLY IN THE NAME OF THE SANDWICH? I didnt even know that someone could mess up a sandwich as badly as yall did. Yall need to fire yall's cook, or just close the doors for good if this is what people are going to get. Yall are stealing people's money when people order food and this is what they get in return. Bart's is a complete joke.
What a disappointment. Haven’t been in awhile and Barts always had such a fun atmosphere, not anymore. Today will be the last time I go there. The girl taking my order didn’t understand a simple request I had, the hot dog bun was hardly grilled, and the fries tasted like fish. Sad to have had an iconic establishment for years go downhill with the new owners. I don’t even give it a star

Has gone way downhill. The staff is incredibly rude and the food is just not quality. You used to be able to see your food being made, you can't now. This place used to get packed for breakfast and be full in the summer and it was completely dead when I tried to go in.

Food has changed dramatically with new owners. Hotdogs were terrible. Hamburg look like it was cooked two days ago. Definitely not the Bart's we all know and love!! New owners do not have a clue. Also, bathrooms were disgusting!! Stay far away.
