Stopped here for a late lunch. Great service - efficient and friendly. My red curry had a fantastic balance of heat and sweetness. Restaurant is also very inviting and clean inside. Hidden gem of the city.

Food lacked flavor in general. The other problem was extremely small portions and relatively high prices. Unfortunately not a happy eating experience

Family trip to DC & came upon this place. So glad that we did. The coconut curry was so DELICIOUS! The Pad Thai was my favorite! The food was prepared quickly! We will be back the next time I return. Give this place a try!

Absolutely wonderful hidden gem of DC . This is fresh and authentic. I'm very pleased with my food and service. The crispy duck is a must at this spot. Thank you so much. I can't wait to come back again. -California

I have passed by this restaurant until today when I had to be at work at the Capital One Arena at 6 pm. That I decided to stop in to get a bite to eat. I ate the green won ton soup which was hot, flavorful as well as tasty and delicious. Next, I had a house salad comprising romanie, spinach topped off with shredded carrots and Bermuda onions as well as green onions which made it a delightful fresh green salad. I am confident that the entrees along sides, desserts and drinks are superb as well. I will highly recommend and visit the restaurant absolutely!

Came all the way from New York,The food looked promising on the menu but it was horrible. The soup is real good I’ll give that one, but the actual entree menu is absolutely horrendous1/5Staff, Servers were annoying, they kept coming to our table like every 3 minutes and wouldn’t let us talk.1/5Dietary restrictions: Too spicy

Walk off the street in DC and into a restaurant in Thailand. They had a great selection of delicious, authentic food. Especially loved the duck in sweet/hot red curry, and the Tom ka soup. Thanks Absolute Thai, Keep it spicy :)

Our experience at Absolute Thai for the first time was good. The staff was friendly and responsive. We had ordered Pad Thai, green curry, and Pad Prik Khing. Everything was good especially green curry was my favorite. My bf had spicy beef dish and he liked it. The portion size were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, a great place to get authentic and delicious Thai cuisine in DC.

Great little place. Portions are more than enough to eat family style or alone. Delicious pad Thai and all the usual traditional dishes.
