Inaccurate website hours resulted in an 1+ hr round trip to a closed store. Customer "care" at its best.

I ordered a spinach pie and the avgolemono soup. Both were delicious. The soup was flavorful and not overly heavy. Sometimes with spinach pies, the dough can be bland. Not here, it adds to the flavor of the spinach. Would definitely go back

Amazing homemade Greek food, the nicest service 5+ stars. Variety of fresh and warm dishes!

Honestly everything about this bakery is dissapointing, and I really hate that.No traditional Greek pies or pastries, you order what you want and they’ll say “okay yes” and just give you the only thing they’ve made that morning. Not very good.Ordered a cheese pie, they said yes, gave me a spinach pie. Not terrible but not what I asked for, and they clearly didn’t even have it. They should have just told me.

Unbelievable soups. I also had a daily special of chicken and potatoes and the traditional cheese pie, which was fantastic. Long-ish wait and totally worth it for this all homemade goodness!!

Wow! I’d never had Greek lasagna before and now I’m grateful I have. They made it with spinach and feta. The portion is substantial. Worth every penny. The service was excellent, thoughtful, and kind. The apple pie hit the spot. This little restaurant is a hidden gem!

Would have loved to have more meals here during our visit! Amazing homemade Greek food! We had pies and Avgolemono soup - the best ever! Lunch is a bit hectic and cozy - it's a small space but so worth it! Love the communal table.

Well… try google “burek” in D.C. and you’ll find that this place is the only one in entire downtown to offer it. Verdict? The best, genuine bureks, and Mediterranean food!! The only *problem* they close at 4pm!!! They must be making tons of money, for closing down this early the only legit Mediterranean food in D.C. … you must try this place !!!

Love this place! Have been going there for several years whenever I'm in the DMV. Great soup, and their spanakopita is the next I've had in the US. Salads ar hearty and tasty. Price is reasonable and portions are large. A great place to grab lunch!

This place needs to update their hours. We Ubered here from our hotel at 11:30 on a Saturday to show up to a closed bakery. We were overly disappointed especially when it said they were open until 4pm today.

Their rich bean soup is delicious; very similar to a Moroccan soup we've recently been introduced to. I had a yummy tomato and feta salad with it. On a family vacation which has seen us eating a fair bit of overly heavy food, this made my day. Lovely family owners.Vegetarian options: I suspect the been soup I had would be considered vegan, but I couldn't say for sure. No obvious animal product involved. And they make (some?) their salads to order. Mine had feta, oil, herbs and tomatoes.

We visited here for a very late lunch after returning from Arlington. We hadn't;t had lunch so we popped in here as it was situated right next to our hotel. When we arrived there was not much left as the shop had been open for a while and all the famous home made pies were sold out. This shop seems to make everything fresh, and if you're not there early others will beat you to the wares. the little one had a triple chocolate cake, mum had apple pie and I had blueberry pie. We sat at a long wooden table in the middle of the shop, close to a family who were also visiting. The pies were definitely home made, you can really taste the difference. We had a coffee and three bottles of pop too. The bill came to just over $30. The pies were terrific and the crusts won't be found on something from your local supermarket. For those who like home coking, its a place you definitely want to bring your mum.
