Excellent apps and pizza, and the cocktails were incredible, too! This is a place worth checking out.

Is anything wrong with your hostess? We asked her if she had a table for 6, and she looks us up and down and asks “does it look like we have a table?” Honey if you’re having a bad day stay home, it’s not our fault. Get more professional staff, the hell? Never coming back here again and telling everyone the same.

I'm glad I went here. I mainly pick this place because of the $19 bottomless cocktails but the pizza was delicious. The servers were super nice! This will be a place we will come back to when we visit

Pizza was heavy (too much of everything on top and too chewy) but tasty. They charge 20% for takeout which I found crazy. I ended up spending 31 dollars for a pie I could not finish.

Very good Pizza! Some of their toppings are a little weird, but I'm sure they'll make wharever you want. I will go back.Parking: It's DC. Parking is rediculously expensive.

Favorite spot for pizza, tiramisu & drinks! My partner had arancini & it came with green sauce on top. That green sauce was something! It was so good & the service was also excellent!

It has been a long time since I was back at All-Purpose (2017 - I think with moving out of the area), but unlike declines at some other DC past favorite restaurants, All-Purpose has maintained its reputation for my favorite pizza in the city.Great cocktails, appetizers (mozzarella and 'hummus'), pizzas... it was all really delicious and I can't wait to go back.

Glad that we had reservations -- even though it was a weeknight, seemed like the place was completely full and we would have had to wait if we didn't have reservations. In fact, the host wanted to seat us only if our full party had arrived (or was about to arrive). We made it just in time for happy hour. I like that they have cocktails on their happy hour menu! We were able to squeeze in a cocktail order before happy hour ended. For the food, we ordered the caser salad, Sedgewick (black truffle honey) and Vespa (mushroom). I was really excited about the black truffle honey, but found it actually to be a bit too sweet and sticky... Couldn't really taste much of the black truffle, so I was kind of underwhelmed with that option. However, the mushroom pizza was delicious! It was so savory and different flavors. I also really liked the crust. Hefty but not too chewy. Ambiance has a woodsy, industrial vibe. Dim lighting. We were seated at a table, but noticed some booths behind us, each in a nook that gave them some privacy, and each nook had a fun industrial/steam-punk reminiscent light.

The garlic knot is deliciously made. It comes with sour cream at the bottom and adds layer of taste. The calamari is also a must try! They purposefully fried few slides of lemon to help taking away the greasiness of the appetizer. Detailed attention definitely is paid in their appetizers. We ordered pizzas: the standard and the mushroom with truffles (forget the name). Both pizzas are good quality but I prefer the truffle one.Another add is: our server is great and he professionally reminded us that 20% gratitude is included. He gave us kids friendly color paper to keep kids entertained while we were waiting for food.Kid-friendliness: Kids are given coloring paper to keep them entertained.

Pizza tasted great. The crust had a great chew. We were 15 min late for an 815 reservation (I called to let them know we were running late)and were told upon checkin due to the online reservation system only recognizing reservations on the hour we would only have 1.5hr until we would need to leave as reservations are blocked for 2 hrs on the hour. Very strange. We didn't need 2 hrs for dinner so it really didn't negatively impact us. Service was a bit slow initially as we waited to place our order but after that it was better. Pizza was really good. Crust had a good chew and toppings were fresh.Dietary restrictions: They were able to substitute topping to accommodate our party not eating pork
