Not tasty, and too expensive for this quality.I order rainbow roles, miso, green salad and Sapporo.Sapporo was the best (but it was $15), rolles was too dry and no taste, and in salad there was just leaves 2 slises avocado, and 2 slises of cucumber dressing tahini sauce, miso soup was good but too small. Not recommend this place

We have to start off every visit with a Sapporo. This is one of Georgetowns best Sushi. This place was recently renovated but has always given me the feeling of home. The staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful when it comes to making your selection. I find that even on the busiest days you will still get the same friendly treatment. I recommend trying the spicy scallop roll. You must try it, the seafood here is some of the freshest I have ever tasted. In addition the Philadelphia roll is simply but a must at this place. Once you go once you will be hooked.

Fresh, delicious sushi, best in the area, although it can be expensive. Also, when I ordered my food, I told the guy I only wanted water, and he sold me a bottle of water. However, when I sat at the table, there was free water there. I felt a bit scammed that he did not inform me.

The woman is so rude and the food isn't that good like don't give your money to this business.

This was around $45 btw. You would think for the price, the taste would be at least decent, but no. It tastes same or worse than the $9 sushi i can get on a local super market. Hmm, is the service good then? Well you are expected to pick up your own food with a buzzer. The best part is a $13 priced takoyaki that has a single piece of small octopus inside, with endless fillings of void. I would avoid this place if possible.

The food is mediocre. One of the dishes didn't match the menu description, and the staff's unconvincing excuses left me disappointed.

The location on a canal in Georgetown is great, even though I can't stand Georgetown in general, and the canal is a stinking mess, but the restaurant is an ideal property, little row house among the cobblestones. But the food is mediocre. I didn't finish any of the three dishes. Even the salad sucked, and the usual delicate Japanese dressing was in this iteration bland and a bit sour. The rice was stale AND overcooked, a fatal combination. They need a proper cook.

pretty good quality sushi in dc given the price point. theres essentially no service though, the restaurant is owned by some korean owners and you order and pay beforehand, then either take it upstairs yourself or eat out. a very standard collection of american-friendly rolls

The food was excellent -- both fish and vegetarian options. It's a little pricey, but not above what I would expect from the area or for that quality. They have DIY table service. Basically, you order up front, get your food on a tray, and seat yourself (you can't sit there if you order for takeout).

This is the best quality sushi in the area. You can find plenty of sushi places in DC but nowhere has the quality of Bluefin. Their salmon options are amazing, the orange roll is my favorite, but their sashimi set is exquisite.
