Really tasty pub grub with excellent staff who both know and can recommend well some of the excellent beers they have here. The area is very pleasant, down by the waterfront and away from the crowds around the main tourist areas.

You can tell the staff doesn’t mesh, the sausage board is literally two hot dogs….I ordered a pretzel and didn’t even get it…I was one of maybe 6 tables? It wasn’t over packed on a baseball night. The girl who came in to yell at her baby daddy who’s on staff was entertaining though!

The "Known and Loved" IPA is great. Love the fact that you can have tasters and taste many beers. The Big Train Burger one of the best burgers I ever had. Recommendable place.

Great place for sports bars and good beers lovers. Straight from the tank, everything is brewed here with a great variety of options. The place must be buzzing on match days. Large screens everywhere and good atmosphere.Didn’t try the food. They have merch as well.Great spot ?

Great brewery! Delicious food (tater tots are a must) and delicious IPAs! It was a little hard to flag down the waitress to order more beer, but that’s bound to happen when someplace is busy! Great place, and definitely will be back.

Our server was great. Very friendly and attentive. The Roasted Pork Sandwich was awesome and the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Mumbo Sauce was simply delicious. Cool atmosphere

First, service was friendly and prompt, food was good. Facility was huge and impressive. The downside, not terribly impressed with the beer lineup or the ones I tried. May be unfair after one visit but not my first brewery.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on a slow Monday afternoon and was very impressed by the food and service by waiter Trey. The tots are killer: unlike normal tater tots, they're not like crispy mashed potatoes. Fantastic. Even a Cobb salad was exciting, with giant chunks of bacon and some fantastically flavored and moist grilled chicken. I'll come back to try more food, and also when I can try the beer.

The best brewery in DC so far! Great selection of beer and ales. All IPAs are hazy, but 5 different styles. Lost weekend is my favorite. Prices are affordable. A great atmosphere of a real brewery. Looking forward to visiting it again sometime soon.

Poor service, drinks OK, food disappointing. After being seated for lunch and getting our drinks there was a looong wait with tables around us being seated, ordered and served while we were ghosted by the waitress. We finally asked a staff member walking by to send over the waitress. Several more minutes and we finally got to order. Had a reuben with little meat and what was there was very fatty. Ordered fries, but they didn’t come with meal. Waitress came back and went to all the tables around us except ours to check on their drinks and meals - like we were invisible. We had to literally stop her to get her to acknowledge us. She apologized, got our fries (on the house) then avoided us like the plague until it came time to pay. I know we’re just a couple of tourists and not DC locals, but I expect better from my dining experience. Definitely would not recommend or go back.

Food and environment were nice. Had an issue with management being confused over whether to serve alcohol, but the restaurant made amends.

They should have decided whether or not to serve my 21 year old daughter with her ID before they charged us for a beer that they tried to take away from her. We paid for it. Unprofessional.

A great place to visit for lunch, particularly the outdoor seating on a breezy spring day. Try the pretzel (which is very generously sized), chicken sandwich with mumbo sauce, and tater tots.

Stopped into DC to catch a Phils game. Heard about this place from a friend but they said if it is busy, don’t even try. We popped in with kids after the game to check out the ambiance, merch and we were going to grab a six pack and leave. The host followed us in and made it clear we were beyond our boundaries. We shared we only wanted to check it out. We weren’t trying to stay. Save your money. There’s plenty of other fun places to try in DC.
