Paid for their event/venue. Waited over 40 min after initially being served before I went to cash out and just leaving half way through the show. Was hoping for a nice event, few glasses of wine and a nice meal. Disappointed.

The Carlyle Room supper club has delicious food and quality live entertainment. There is a minimum food purchase ($25) per person. I normally order Shrimp and Grits. I highly recommend customers to reserve seats online. Dress code is business or dinner attire. Brennan’s Bar is separate but connected to the supper club and is a cozy spot that’s great for a solo outing or with friends. Dress code is casual at Brennan’s Bar.Parking: Free parking is available but extremely limited and tight. Parking is available at nearby shopping centers but involves a short walk across a major intersection to get to the restaurant.

Ready for something new & exciting to do on Wednesday in the DMV? Let's swing over to Humpday Cabaret & have a sexy good time. The show starts at 6:30pm and every minute will have you lusting for more! An Immersive show that blends burlesque and a sexy jazz ensemble? Ummm why are you still thinking about it, book your seat NOOWWW. I always make sure to show the performers that I appreciate them by giving them tips as well. I mean, they put a lot into their crafts, so why not spoil em.. Grab your girls or your beau and spice things up a little

Did the Valentine's Day dinner and it was like being transported to what I'd imagine a club in the 40s would be like. Thr Art deco decor was fab! The Valentine's Day dinner at this Jazz Supper Club was an enchanting experience. The cozy ambiance, accompanied by live jazz, set a romantic tone.. The attention to detail and the overall atmosphere made it a memorable celebration.

We saw a Phyllis Hyman tribute show. The show was entertaining, and the food portions were good for the pricing. I had the Cajun chicken pasta (a bit short on the chicken, if you ask me). My mother had seafood chowder and Carlye Chicken. She enjoyed the chowder - though I saw more celery and potatoes than anything! Overall, it was a chill atmosphere and a good show. Try not to compare it with Toby's, as this is DC .The place is packed so the service can be slow, so make sure you order more than water, if youre not giving up sugar for Lent (or ask for an extra glass) because I had to wait quite a while for a refill.Wheelchair accessibility: The venue is pretty tight inside. The tables are VERY close together and not the best for handicap seating if you want to be center stage. I would recommend the seating on the sides of the stage near the left-hand side as there is a bit more space. Idk if the price changes for these seats, though.

My Boo and I were invited by Friends to join them to see "A Tribute to Phyllis Hyman" last evening. This was our first time visiting this Location. We occasionally have gone to several Events when they were located in Arlington VA. The Location in downtown D.C. is pretty nice. They have a Parking Garage next door which is very convenient. You can have your Parking Ticket Validated which will give you a $2 Discount off of your Parking. $8 is awesome for downtown D.C. The interior of the Club/Restaurant is beautifully decorated. However, seating is very cramped. Seating is assigned at usually a 2, 4, or 6 seat Table. Can't comment on the Food because we had eaten beforehand, so we just ordered Drinks. We both ordered the " Caryle Punch" which I found to be very "weak", although flavorful, $13. The Entertainment for the evening presented by "Brencore Entertainment" was nice l, but nothing to "write Home about". Tickets were $45.00 for this Event. Would I return, I think not. Go check it out for yourself though.

The service was good, but the food is absolutely AWFUL! I can't express enough how bad it was for everyone at the table. This was among the worst meals I've ever paid money for (and it sure wasn't cheap). The baked salmon was as salty as the sea itself, and came with this weird processed cheese sauce for some reason (it tasted indistinguishable from the cheese powder that comes with craft Mac-n-cheese). The penne also had this awful cheese sauce, the vegetables were uncooked, and the chicken was overcooked. We were going to get dessert and cocktails, but had absolutely no faith in their ability to make anything edible so we left early and went somewhere better. The show was great, but I've never experienced such awful cooking anywhere - especially not a place with such high prices. When you go to a restaurant with a short menu and high prices, you expect them to really excel in the few dishes they offer. In the end, their menu was just boring and horribly executed. I will definitely not be coming back here.

Stood at the front waiting to be seated for several minutes. Waitresses did not even acknowledge me. Then finally a man came over and helped me with seating. I was provided no menu. I just sat there at the seat ignored for several minutes before I decided to leave. Horrible service/

I'd love to rate TCR higher. It's a great location and nice ambiance, especially for jazz. Its biggest challenge is the abysmally slow service. I've been about five times now and the service is consistently slow - it's not a fluke. They just don't seem to have enough servers. Hope they figure it out, but I'll think twice before coming back. Oh, well.
