They do a very lack luster hookah service. They tried to charge extra just to change the coals. After spending a bunch in the bar feels petty to charge to change coals. Then when I presented the issue to them they kicked me out. Absolutely ridiculous

We walked in believing they are open for late night dine in, like stated on google. The host only stated its a $20 entry fee with no other context. I found out from another employee the bar downstairs is NOT open and we must go to the party that is apparently happening upstairs just to eat. Communication between employees is nonexistent, and non additional context from hostess was also missing. letting people aware of what’s going on is ideal for a RESTAURANT. Change the type of place to restaurant and lounge. I could’ve stayed in Houston if i wanted to spend an extra $20 for entry. don’t recommend for those looking for a late night meal.

Always a great time in this space. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, the manager always makes sure I have what I need. It’s clean and the crowd that comes in are friendly people. Very hospitable experience.
Went to brunch for my bff bday worst service I received in a long time. Idk if the waiter was tired, high / drunk or all of the above but she did not really what to be there that day.. Barely checked on us and just didn't want to be attentive.. I feel like the hype I was told about this place was a lie. Asked for lemon drops and was served cheap liquor that when we left we all were sick off of.. So thanks for that. I feel like when you speak up for certain services no matter how nice you try some people when try to get back at you for it and they did.. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Upstairs doesn't have a lot of space at all...but I give 4 stars because the downstairs bartender was vibinnnnnn!!!! The decor on the wall was super cute for pics.

Sunday is a great kickback day to enjoy brunch & relax. The bottomless mimosas is all you need ?. Loved the shrimp tacos.
Place is nice I liked it alot. The only downfall was the service staff required I make at least a $25 spend per person to get a table and eat. Me and my date was more concerned for drinks and light itmes so we sat at the bar. Outside of that we spent a really good time nice

Forgot to take a picture. My friends and I got to Brooklyn right when they opened the upstairs. We had the opportunity to select our own seats at the bar. It was Sunday football. The bartender was on point and made certain we were taken care of. I would definitely go back.

My first experience at the Brooklyn on u street was very unpleasant due to the big guy working there he may have been the owner but he made my experience there uncomfortable for me and my party he ruined the vibe and was very overbearing. He was conducting himself very unprofessionally for the food to be mediocre at best. I give my whole experience a 4/10 and I'm just being nice.

This is my first and last visit to Brooklyn on Ust. The employees at the front entrance were unprofessional and unorganized when we approached. The man that seems to be the owner was rude and and unwelcoming. The food was ok but nothing to care about. I will never spend another dime here. This is not a good place to have a good time or celebrate an occasion.

Visited from Baltimore and came across this place looking for a quick bite to eat. Wifey and I shared a pitcher of Hennessy sangria, jerk bbq wings and shrimp tacos. Everything was great. Our server Samira took good care of us and told us to come back for nightlife. So glad we did and thank you again Samira
